SLAYING In St. Louis!
It is 2:00am – I’ve resisted starting this post because I’ve convinced myself that if I don’t start, maybe this Orion Summer Tour won’t end… Maybe I’ll wake up tomorrow and there’ll be another venue waiting for David and the ArchuBand to take the stage – to hypnotize and mesmerize fans standing shoulder to shoulder, giddy with anticipation, hearing those first piano notes of Parachutes & Airplanes… waiting for David…
But I’ve checked off all the venues, one by one, starting in Red Bluff, CA, the ArchuBus rolling out the miles across the Pacific Northwest, to Bend, OR then on to Sacramento, CA where I was blessed to see both shows back to back – sharing VIP with friends that I’ve known for nine years and counting, hearing David pour himself into Fast Car and knowing that there’s absolutely nothing more satisfying than hearing him sing live.
Now we find ourselves in the afterglow of St. Louis, MO – the last stop of the Orion Summer Tour – I wistfully add the last check mark to the calendar, and let the memories begin to swirl in my head like a kaleidoscope… resistance is futile.
And so we begin, at the end…
A big thank you from our crew and me to everyone who came to this first leg of shows, on the Orion Tour!! St Louis was so much fun, and I'm so glad you guys have enjoyed these shows and these new songs!! What was your favorite part? Any interesting memories? Anyone you met? Tag any friends who you came with to the tour! Thanks again everyone and keep posted for more shows and more new music to come! #tour #tourlife #bus #band #crew #oriontour #StLouis

Meet Us In St. Louis
Intrepid Archies traveled far and wide to meet up in St. Louis! There’s always something special about the first and last shows of a tour – there were high expectations that David and Company would blow the roof off The Old Rock House – that the energy had been building slowly but surely, gathering momentum that would crescendo in a tidal wave of ArchuAmazingness that would take us to the stars and beyond… and David DELIVERED!
Let’s start at the Arch:

Our very own FOD MOD Joanie was there front & center and shared these awesome snippets – she’s so close to the stage!
Other Archies shared their pics and vids via Twitter, IG & Periscope – too many to post here, but check out the feeds from Rhiminee (Tina), PeacesignPam, ArchieTina, Myheartsong (Robin) & VeeBee123 (Vidya) to name a few! Thanks to all!

David really brought the energy and left everything on the stage – it was the last show of the tour and there was no holding back! What a joy this tour has been! Looking forward to more show dates!
What’s Better Than a David Concert?
When you bring your friends and turn them into FANS!
These shows were so awesome fans started bringing fans-yet-to-be such as family, friends and co-workers! Converting these newbies into FANS has become kind of a hobby for us! 🙂
The comment below was shared fromDavid’s FB – I couldn’t locate it, so I’m posting it in text format as it was shared – these little moments are what make David such a special artist – he never ceases to amaze us with his kindness and caring for others.
comment on FB, Rob Schwitz: It was a fantastic concert. Thanks for the photo and autograph afterwards. It was so kind and thoughtful that you even went onto the bus for wheelchair bound and handicapped people to take a photo and sign an autograph for a guy in a wheelchair that didn’t even attend your show. You are a class act and a good person. I will get your next EP as soon as it hits iTunes! Thanks for playing a few of those before anyone can even buy them. Your band is amazing too!
In no particular order…
It is now 6:30am and I have literally stayed Up All Night! Thanks to David there have been many nights like this – getting lost in the vortex of pics and vids as each concert unfolded – it’s been a wild and crazy ride – I only wish it could be endless!
However, when the man himself (while standing on a moving bus) has promised us more music and that more shows are in the works – in fact, he wants to hear from us about what we thought of the shows and the songs, so everybody take him up on that and use your social media prowess to drop him a line – you can also send him a post card if you want to rock it old school lol.
As I stifle a yawn and listen to the birds greet the morning, I just want to say, once again, Thank You David! Thank you for your music and for this amazing Orion Summer Tour! Thanks to Kari, Chad, Brady, Aaron, Jay, Amber, Emily and the crew who made this tour possible!
It has only made us ravenous for MORE! Fans across the nation and around the world await news of the new EP and the next tour – where in the world will it take you? No matter how far, you can be assured that the Archies will be there with bells on! Book it and we will come – in droves – and we’re bringing our friends and family!
All these feelings inside, keeping me up all night… indeed.
