And we learned a little more of the story yesterday….

The Love Medley
I remember the first time we heard this medley! It was current, so suited his vocal range and featured at least 3 of my favourite performers who performed the original tracks. David wowed the audiences during his solo tour with this change of tempo and got them all singing and swaying. Since it’s a Sunday, this medley of love seems fitting for a poll today and a little quiet voting.
Before I start, I have to post this little “Freaking Out” Vid where David hears himself singing I’m Yours just a few weeks before the solo tour starts, after performing it on the spot on the radio. You can tell its a special song he wanted to sing well because he was so nervous about it. Here he is downplaying his performance and promo-ing Jason Mraz’ instead. Interesting that he had it on his set list and nailed it!
Okay, here are the Medley’s for voting:
Idaho Falls, from 88Aladdin. This is so good! Love his enthusiasm, the crowd’s reaction when he sits at the piano, and the slightly nervous smile as he launches into Love Song. But the last 12 seconds is the best! Tell me if I’m wrong here. Great audio and video.
Richmond VA, from mcamy1. This was one of his first concerts and he is uber excited! Great crowd reaction.
From Duluth, MN from Starrynites01. Includes great, interesting lighting, amazing audio and the band intro! Very close too.
Albuquerque, from djhsail. David was in very strong voice, and it’s almost like being there among the crowd!
Lancaster PA. From apmvp05. Such cool lighting, the ending to One has some nice little runs! And the crowd singing during Love Song. So much audience participation. The swaying to I’m Yours!
Beaumont and San Antonio, TX. From southerngirl1982. Treat these two vids as one; I’ll splice them together. Super close, great audio and video and amazing and vocal crowds. Great vantage point here. Look at the number of views on the I’m Yours part!

As far as what can be said. I did find a certain comment yesterday, offensive & the person who made the comment acknowledged it was harsh. If people, who only comment here once in a great while, usually to bash, yes I said bash the person we’re all here for, then I have a problem with it. Yes, say what we want, what we feel, thats great, but I think there is a line we shouldnt cross. If thats someones only motive to comment, start another site somewhere else, this is a David FANsite. People can disagree with Davids choices without bashing him or belittling him. I’m sick of people who print stories about him in the media about how the sweet, cherub faced teen idol or making him sound like a cartoon character or some commenters here & elsewhere talk about him like he’s some puppet, who doesnt have a mind of his own. He’s a 22 year old man for gosh sakes, someone who’s strong enough to do what he feels is right, regardless of the pressures of society or labels or managers. Until he gives me a reason not to, he has my respect & admiration. I dont agree with everything about his religion, but, I believe he truly loves his fellow man & only wants to help them anyway he can. He respects others, I only wish others showed him the same consideration. (I’m not talking about the majority of fans here, just a few out there in the fandom & media) I do wish the best possible in life for everyone, including the few I disagree with. Truly, I do

Good morning, We got some snow in the Fingerlakes area too but that is to be expected. I was just reading yesterday’s post and I have to say that I was upset with lurkey turkey’s comments. I found it absolutely unnessary to say he is being treated like a 6yr. old and will come back immature from his mission and that neutered crack really didn’t set well. potluck8 – I completely agree that that particular comment was harsh and probably everyone agrees on that, but I don’t think comments like “full of crap” were justified or any better than Turkey Lurkey’s. I think comments like Virtue’s were a better response.

love Dr Seuss myself, in fact we have been using some of his books as themes for our cub activities. When doing a theme on environment we used “the Lorax” and interlaced the story with games and activities – the cubs just loved it. and for our Christmas pack meeting used the Grinch who stole Christmas. I know that David loves “green eggs and ham” and that is my grandson’s favourite as well!!! Have a great Sunday, xxx

Happy Sunday everyone! Love the lead picture in today’s post! Can’t believe it was 4 years ago today that me, Pastel, Vicki, Donna (@Davidsgift) froze our tushies off waiting in line at Club Infinity in Buffalo for D’s solo tour! One of my best David moments for me and that I was able to share those memories with such wonderful people! Enjoyed watching the video of David saying goodbye to the fans outside of the venue in Allentown! Such a sweetheart! Gosh I miss him!

Beth, with respect to your opinion, I reread my posts and don’t think I bashed David in any way. Musical taste is a matter of opinion and I’m glad so many are happy with his music now. As I stated I don’t always like everything my other favorite artists produce, but I am still a fan, as I am still a fan of David.
I am sorry I don’t come here more so you would get to know me. I am extremely busy in life and only stop in when I am sick and can’t be at work or some other thing like that. I do read twitter a couple times a week but do not lurk here constantly. I did lurk in the distant past when I was afraid to post here. Now weeks go by and I don’t sign in which can probably be verified by those who run this site.
I also didn’t bash the LDS, his mission, his decision etc. I asked a general question based on discussion on this board about him coming back, what he will do, how he will change etc.

Where I come from (NYC), the word “crap” is used as a milder form of a more descriptive 4 letter word that I would not dare use here, and is not considered rude or disrespectful. It’s the same thing as David using the word “dang” instead the harsher term “damn”.

Breanne, that’s an interesting picture of Justin. I wonder if Melinda Bell’s views of Justin have changed in light of recent events. I always found it a bit annoying how Melinda would fawn over Justin in her tweets and hint that David should be more like Justin. I think Justin is excellent at what he is – a manufactured pop star with mediocre talent but first rate marketing. But why make David into Justin, especially when David had no interest in being a teen idol? It would have been like telling Celine Dion to be more like Britney Spears. I think that when David looks back on his career in 10 years, he’ll probably see hiring WEG as the biggest mistake he ever made in his career. Just my opinion.
KSF, I’m not offended at all. My post to LT, and all who cared to read it, was to share my outrage that she would come on to this fan site and insult the quality of David’s artistry. I called her out on it and was admonished by you and others for the use of one “harsh” word: You cared more about style over substance. Where is the loyalty to David? Would you allow someone to come into your home and insult someone you love.? This site is David’s “home away from home”. The truly offensive words were used by Lurkey Turkey, whether they contained 4 letters or not.
The problem I have with fan sites, as opposed to Twitter, is that although they say that all feedback is welcome, my empirical experience has shown me that there is a “our way or the highway” policy on every site. I’m a grown man who views David as a serious artist and humanitarian. He is not my “teen idol”. I look forward to his return, and I hope that his fans can and will begin treating him as the adult that he is. Only then will he get the recognition and respect from the music. industry that he has earned and deserves.

Well I see the same doo-doo is still circulating 24 hours later. Im not offended by peoples opinions, by the word crap, or even the “F” word, the only exception was when MEL used it on twitter, didnt think as Davids manager it was the professional thing to do. I only take offense when the conversation becomes personal. What is the point of getting offended, it doesnt solve a thing.

Kim- Thanks for that video. David is an angel. All that he has done, now he is singing on the mark in Spanish. Sounds outstanding in any language. How does he do it? Don’t know but I hope he never stops.

I was sharing David’s music videos on my Utah fan group to show the views and I still can’t open up to see A Little Too Not Over You. I can see it on the OS but the videos there don’t link to YT or show the number of views. Oh well. It says “this video is not available in your country.” LOLOL
