Nope am not yet asleep. Am voting while I take a break from writing.
Actually, they have made headway in both Poll Daddy & Twitter.
As of Feb 1 10:40pm Manila time. their twitter votes have reached about 26K. If we deduct that from our lead on Poll Daddy, the net lead over LMH is only about 100K, down by about 3K from my count 10:40pm yesterday.
The other group would need to put it 9K votes per day till poll deadline to ivertake us ASSUMING we simply maintain our rate of voting.
Take note that I haven’t counted out twitter votes. Nor have I looked on the FB and YT votes on both camps.

Nora I agree. That is the frustrating thing about this poll. We were voting at least 26,000 every day between around 9:00 until 11:00 and at night there were on average around 7000 votes. Now we are lucky to get 15000 during the day and 4000 at night.
Hi all, just wanna say that they actually talked about David in my radio station in Toronto area. They were talking about the highest rated idol contestants that made the Forbes list and they mentioned David. They mentioned him even before Cook lol. They mentioned being away on a mission and still releasing music and mention the name of the album. I was at work and stook there like a statue listening and everyone stared at me like I was nuts. lol. They havent talked about David since his Crush days. I so hope this is a start to something very exciting for him and us. lol Just though I’d share.

Grannycrush–I started kinda late on the PV….had to take a break after voting since early morning when they were having PV big time….there were up to 30 peeps in their camp voting then. Very few things are a coincidence with David aren’t they. Every little decision he makes has been carefully thought out and chosen for the messages it conveys. We love you David. Our hearts are still with you. When 2014 dawns we’ll be ready to welcome you home with outstretched arms. There will be no running away, no matter how far you go.

Hello everyone! Glad to have you back Sarahhazel! Have been voting on EL (I think I was able to join the PV today) and also on twitter. I also informed Sandritangel ( from twitter) from Peru to ask the other Latin American fans to vote on EL. She told me she would get the word out for them to vote. Don’t worry guys I think we will make it and even get more than a million votes at the end of this poll. Getting David to win in these polls is the least one can do after all the hard work he has done before leaving for his mission. Aside from which his being a dominant contender in these polls, shows the world that he is a force to reckon with even with him being away on his mission. And I think they are noticing it from the comments I have been reading on the different sites. Let’s not lose hope and just keep on getting his name out there.

As I mentioned in TDC, the twitter tally for DA does not include Jan 21-24 votes. Except for Poll daddy, the above numbers are just rough counting, ok? But it should give us an idea of how far we have helped put DA on top.
LMH voters would need to put at least 9K a day to overtake us so its important that we DO NOT stop voting in any means available to us, ok?

sarahhazel – I’m taking a break, too. I pre-ordered “No Matter How Far” from WOW Australia. It was $17.99 plus .99 for insurance. So $18.98 all tol. Now will sales count from there or should I get from Amazon for it to count? Grr Never know whats better for David. Amazon is $15.98 but you got shipping so I guess it comes out the same.
I am going to give some love to NA poll for a bit because it’s pretty ugly there. Anyone knows if You’re Not a Good Liar is on his old CD? This is one of the most sexy song of David mannn he don’t have to unbutton his shirt when sing this song ;PPPP.

The comments on this site today have been dripping with desperate pleas to vote, vote, vote for David as 2012 Foreign Act Newsmaker of the Year. How could we sporadic voters not help out? They should just throw out all the names on the list except for the top two entries. It’s their contest and David just rocks the vote a lot more.
Slowly, but surely, David’s album cover photos are showing off his gorgeous side. Of all his cover images, this is the one that comes closest to the “money shot”. It’s playful, flirty and boldly colorful. Check out that neon watch and those great sneaks. Even his off-center “prayer” hands are having fun.
I’ve often wondered how so many other incredible images of David can be “out there” in the universe and the media still uses most of the old stuff that’s in their archives. I hope they use this album cover art every once in a while. Perhaps his PR house should update print, online and broadcast media with a blast of new pics, so there’s some consistency around the publicity of No Matter How Far.
And, Kalei, groovy post. Reed’s remark that he would “market him as some Frankenstein combination of Michael McDonald, Justin Beiber and Michael Buble” is intended entirely to demonstrate that David Archuleta should be recognized as a “monster” talent. His voice is on par with the distinctive pipes of McDonald and Buble and his appeal is potentially in the league of Beiber. Archuleta is a marketing triple threat.

Hey Bethy-I so agree, LOVE “Let Me Go” great dance driven beat, would definitely have gotten radio play, Vocals are stellar…as always. On the same level as Zero Gravity which I have always felt if promoted would have done well.

Candy, I have always LOVED Desparate. I think his vocals on that & Let Me Go are incredible. Well, his vocals are always incredible. Let Me Go, showed his spunk. I think he could re-release it, even with this new cd, well, depending what kind of cd it will be, if it will fit, I just love Let Me Go

What’s the story with Domino? You guys got me curious about all the songs that david has under his belt and I came upon Domino. Drew Ryan Scott sings the song and not David. Seems David wrote it but I haven’t found him singing it, only Drew. Has anyone ever heard the song before??? BTW, love Don’t Tell Me. Would love to hear him sing it at 22!!!!!

We have a lot of fans who are now on twitter rather than on this site. I have pretty much no followers and follow few. Just use my twitter for trending etc. If you have a lot of David fan followers, could you let them know that if they each tweeted @ELifestyleBlog #TELPinoyNewsmaker I voted for David Archuleta for Pinoy Newsmaker of the year. and just change something at the end each time, they could vote for David. I know Jackryan you have tweets to go to David Chronicles to find out how to vote, but if they don’t go there they won’t know. It is so easy that I don’t see why our tweeters won’t do it if they know it will help.
