Candy – a belated Happy Birthday to you too!
I was flying over the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsunday’s yesterday on, our way back home from North Eastern part of Australia. I was thinking of you and our FOD friends the whole time cos I remember you saying you saw a programme about that area on tv before and how beautiful it was. It was pretty cool from the air the Great Barrier Reef looks like a whole bunch of ‘nearly islands’ – kind of like an island only still slightly submerged – or like sand bars just under the surface of the water….and the water is beautiful blue and the ‘sandbars’ have interesting designs and the edges are turquoise and various shades of blue/green – kind of reminded me like the colours, inside an abalone shell. There was definitely some beautiful scenery where we were staying – tropical rainforests, beautiful sweeping beaches, islands in the bay and surrounded by beautiful large rainforest peaks. 
Happy Birthday to little Christiana too – I still remember the excitement of her birth.

Yes we had a wonderful time – absolutely exhausting but wonderful. We got to see my brother-in-laws 3 daughters for the first time in 9 years. We had never met the youngest. They are half korean and live in korea. My 5 daughters had a blast getting to know them all too. It was one big girls-party for 8 days. lol
Now we’re home and gearing up for ‘Christmas’ with my side of the family. So…the wonderful exhaution is not quite over yet lol – but had to come and visit FOD today on David’s special day.
