Forevermore #1 on 2012 Pinoy MYX Countdown!
CONGRATULATIONS to David, Kari, JayDurias, Ivory Music, Jon Daza, Pin Antonio (her lovely home setting) and all others involved in the making of Forevermore!! What a wonderful accomplishment! Another milestone for David!! For a non-Filipino to make the countdown in this category let alone have 2 songs which came in at #1 (Forevermore) and #18 (I’ll Never Go) is truly remarkable! It is a great testament to the love the Filipino fans have for David and his music!!

I just realized that David’s You Tube Channel no longer comes up as “TheOfficialArchuleta” but instead “David Archuleta.” To think I was just on watching a few of his blogs late last night and I failed to notice the change! Anyhoooooo I LOVE the change! He is THE David Archuleta on You Tube, and now it’s “official.”

Thanks for the virtual concert! I had a wonderful time singing along and reliving memories of attending David’s shows. Hoping that there will be another one next year! Also, thanks for the calendar! I walked around my house saying, “I won a calendar!” for about 5 minutes because I was so surprised. Can’t wait to receive it soon!

Joanie, wonderful post. Love the pictures. Hope everyone is having a great day. My daughter showed up with my grandaughter this afternoon to help me get ready for tomorrow. She surprised me. She came over from her house which is a one and a half hour ride. Made me cry. So thoughtful of them. They just left. So sweet of her. Never would have been done in time without them. I played David’s albums. CTH and Begin. We cried for the little lost children listening to David’s beautiful voice. Busy day tomorrow so I hope everyone has a great Christmas Eve day, BBL I have to eat something. Whew!!

Hope everyone’s ready for a Merry Christmas. Does anyone know where I could get a David calendar that I can print out from my computer? I can’t afford to buy one and the guy I usually get my calendar from hasn’t made one for 2013. Plus, I also have no clue how to make one on my own. No graphics skills.

Congrats again to David for getting the number 1 spot in the Pinoy Myx top 20 and # 4 in the Myx Hit Chart which Ali mentioned earlier. Forevermore is such a beautiful song and so iconic for us Filipinos. It has been a favorite song of my husband (who was still courting me at that time) and I since it was first released by the band Side A in 1995. I have to say that I now prefer David’s interpretation of the song. It was one of the reasons why I became an “Archie”. I will never get tired of listening to him sing this song! Just wanted to drop in and say I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! I felt very blessed that my parents asked to watch Glad Christmas Tidings with me yesterday. They had seen last years one with Jane Seymour on PBS and loved it so I volunteered GCT. It was so amazing hear them say “when you have a gift like that, how could you not share it?” <3 Exactly!

So I posted after a long time on this website 2 videos of David’s performance in Chile that I was told were released to us. A friend posted them on Facebook. Anyway, can anyone tell me how come they got deleted? Just wondering, since I didn’t get any kind of explanation as to why it was deleted. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas!
