I became a friend on face book yesterday and this morning when I opened facebook I couldn’t believe how many entries there were from FOD
Love to all the Phillopino fans with all the natural disasters that they are having. We will keep you close in prayer and love.
I have been silent the past few days as my very dear aunt of 88 years passed away on the 29th Nov. She was very special to me as we had often crafted together over the years and had lovely long chats over cups of tea. She unfortunately developed breast cancer some time back but it came back with a vengance in about June and she slowly deteriated and in the past weeks hardly ever was awake when I visited her. It was sad to see such a vibrant, busy lady just lying there hardly responding. Yesterday they had a memorial service for her which was very sad but very special. Next year I will scrapbook her life as far as I am able as a special tribute to a wonderful lady

Thanks for posting the vid Kimk @10:42am it is very crystal clear and David sounds great. Gotta say that David is looking mighty fine and cut in that suit even with his hair so short. There was some talk awhile back about David putting on weight but based on those photo’s he looks amazing very mature and handsome and content/happy. Also I can’t believe that Q102 philly poll has David on again even though I’m sure they know he is away I guess it’s all about hits to their site because they never play his music. But he did appear @ their Jingle Ball/Bash awhile ago and he was amazing. I wish we can get a clear version of the “Prayer” like the one posted.

Thanks for the great post ML!! Love the cow!!! The Riu Riu Chiu vids are all so good and the slideshows bring back great memories! I selfishly had to add my “choice city” for MKOCFTH on fb as St Paul, MN. It was our CFTH concert city that was cancelled due to driving weather for the bus.

She sounds like she was an amazing Aunt who loved spending time with her niece! The scrapbook is a lovely idea. Would love to see a pic or two sometime if you’d ever like to share. <3 It sounds like it's been a tough yr for you losing 2 wonderful women in your family. I really miss my mom too. The memories we have are a great comfort! (((hugs)))

thanks for your kind words Joanie — no, only lost my aunt this year my mum passed a few years ago.
Actually Ialso lost two cousins and my husband lost his brother this year so it has been a sad family time this year. But one has to move on, albeit slowly.
My son and family are visiting from Johannesburg next week so we will have fun family time over Christmas.
Next year when things have quietened down after the holidays I will slowly start reminiscing and scrapping a wonderful lady.

SIGH!! yes, Kimk and Sarahazel celebrating his homecoming…I sure hope there will be a big group of fans to welcome him home, eventhough he won’t be able to talk to them until later after, family, friends and decomposing. cq–In the Philippines….they would wait from the wee hours in the morning at the airport to welcome him….banners and all….to get a glimpse, a wave, a smile…..even for a few minutes only…..wish it’s like that here…..I’m sure he’ll appreciate it much.
sarahhazel-I’m not voting on q102 poll either, they don’t play his music, so why vote, there are other things to vote on that mean more. What a great Christmas present we have gotten a message from him and all those beautiful videos from Chile devotional. No one does Christmas music like David. OHN too beautiful for words, and the Prayer made me cry, can’t wait to see what we get when he returns in 2014. So glad to be a fan of his, we sure are lucky.

Ohhh Myy I just watched the Verona MKOCT RRC. I got the chills. David’s performance was equal to the great masters of song that I have ever heard. That was Metropolitan diva musicality. I’m saying WOW I love it. I was at two MKOCT concerts and am so used to David’s perfection, that this video reminded me of what a great virtuoso David is. Geez I love that guy!

Hello to all! I found this post in Facebook and it reminded me of David and his situation (but I guess a lot of things remind me of David always! lol) Just want to share this story with you all (sorry if it’s a little long):
A well-known speaker started off his seminar holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?” Hands started going up. May not have been here with you all for a bit but I made sure to stay in the loop. I just love how David’s appearance in the Devotional kept building from Glady’s blog then with pics then with videos and finally with HD prof videos!!!! Let me tell you, I may have been having problems with my back but that devotional Xmas concert made me TOTALLY forget everything that was ailing me!!!! OHN is my all time fav, used to sing it in my grade school church choir. When I’d get to “fall on your knees” I’d always get a lump in my throat but when David sings it the tears start to flow. His voice is so pure and his delivery is so genuine that you have no choice but to succumb haha. Now, the fact that I’m Italian, endears me even more when I heard him sing the Prayer. What a splendid surprise to hear him sing in Italian…never in my wildest dreams!!!!! Go for it, David, YOU CAN SING IT ALL!!!!!!!!!

he is an intriguing study in contradictions~ looks young/old, acts sexy/innocent, seems shy/confident, looks smiley/serious and i’m sure there are many more. he is such a fascinating mystery. after 4 years he is still very hard to figure out. so complex and mysterious yet so down to earth and straightforward at the same time. no wonder we can in-depth analyze him constantly and still not know anything, lol!

And I agree with you on the ‘fall on your knees’ bit – thats my favourite bit too as well as the line after it ‘oh hear the angels voices’. It’s all about the glory. Those are the moments david transports me away to another place, lifts me, fills me with joy and rejoicing. Love it!

shanny~ yeah true. probably more noticeable with someone as famous as david with all the blogs/videos on the internet. i shudder to think what it would feel like to be that “out there” with fans analyzing your every look and move. it’s got to be the weirdest feeling! i think that’s why fame can be such a dark and disturbing thing. to feel one way inside and be perceived totally another way by the world. i always pray for david that he can deal with the fame without it messing him up mentally or emotionally.

Shanny, my main prob of 2012 was my hip…with therapy all is good. Now with the close of ’12, my back, which has always been my achilles heel haha, is acting up esp in the am. Muscle relaxers and shots in the lower back have helped but for a long time glucosamine/chodroitin did the trick. We’ll have to see where this all leads hmm Got to get ready for when David gets back

Hey idamae! I found out today that my ct scan was good, no cancer, clots, major kidney disease etc…. So its a big relief. I’m having a couple other things being checked out, but that was a biggy, thanks for asking. Gosh, I hope your back gets better SOON!!!!!!!!! Sorry you have to deal with that, a pain in the back is a pain in the neck

Ida- NYC was fantastic, a tad crowded, took 20 mins to walk one block! Ate dinner at Ellens Stardust Diner…what a fun place! Singing Waiters/Waitresses, dancing/singing on the tables, (wasnt me) Along with the holiday insanity the Beav, 1D and Taylor Swift were doing a concert.

Candy, so glad you enjoyed your time in the city…definitely, tons to do when you’re there. We experienced the same mosh pit walking near the Rock. They were projecting some yuletide symbols (snowflakes, candy canes etc)on the bldgs across the street and the street swelled with tons of people. We only moved as a group…a bit claustrophbic for me. My favs were the families with strollers and some travelers with luggage on wheels ha. It was definitely an accident ready to happen YIKES!!!!!!!

idamae, I’m like David, Christmas songs have always been my favorite to sing. Even before I knew David existed. We sing really good, not tootin’ my own horn really because there are 50 of us ladies in the group. We really do sound good. I just have to get past some of the not so good arrangements Margaret picks. We have a lot more good ones that mediocre ones though. Wish everyone could hear us. I’ll be getting a CD of the concert, but I’m too computer illiterate to know how to convert it to the computer to share. I have CD’s from our last year’s Christmas concert (2 days before David’s announcement concert) and our Spring concert. I’ve never watched them. LOL. I need to just to see how I did. Yikes.

I have nothing to say really. Just wanted to drop in and say hello. Lol! It’s hilarious that everyone is still spazzing over the Chile vids and such. To me he looks and sounds the same. Almost. He’s definitely filled out a bit, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I like his hair, but then I tend to prefer shorter hair. Lol.

i think what makes all these videos so insanely exciting is the fact we were getting nothing, a total communication black-out, and i think alot of us were getting depressed and discouraged wondering how david was doing and if we would ever see his adorable face again, and then boom! this explosion of pics and videos flying all around here and on twitter and at first wondering if it was all ok and then getting the great news that the church livestreamed it and we could in fact enjoy and share all these glorious videos!! it was just like overwhelming relief and sheer joy just to see his beautiful voice and hear that angelical voice! it was like the best christmas present ever!
