In addition to the choral pieces, individual members who auditioned and earned the privilege to perform for the coveted, independent solo and ensemble spots will perform. Those students are Jessica and Aubrey Jones, singing J.J. Niles arrangement of “I Wonder As I Wander,” Dasani Belnap singing “Broken” by David Archuleta and in honor of those who lost their homes in the Charlotte fire. Also performing are Claire Baker singing “See The Joy,” Isabella Dougherty singing “Little One” and Anna LeFevre playing the piano solo, “The First Noel.” Nicole Harman will sing “Where Are You Christmas” from Dr. Seuss’ “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” and Abigail Ralphs will sing “I’m Getting’ Nuttin’ For Christmas.”

Hi Janel- here at the shore white legs have a special nickname, they’re called “WL’s” and you dont want to get caught on the beach with them in the summer!! Its usually reserved for tourists, makes it easy to tell who lives at the shore, and who doesnt!

Feeling a bit nostalgic today. One year ago tomorrow Candy, Wendy and I took the train from Philly to Westbury to see the first show on the MKOC tour. I can remember being shocked during the concert seeing David do things on stage he has never done before lol. And after he performed Little Drummer Boy, I think Candy and I just stared at each other with our mouths ajar hahaha. Oh the memories

angelbymyside-feeling the same- on one hand its hard to believe our trip was a year ago, on the other it feels like forever since we’ve seen David. When David picked up those drum sticks I think we both were in shock…a rock star emerged…only to retreat into his cocoon a few days later!
And yes we have been relegated to speaking in code. Ha, I feel like Im back in grade school…and we dont want the other kids to know what we’re saying.

Beth- Hope everything is a-okay. I dislike them very much. I no sooner start to breathe and then they say hold it. Aye, aye aye. Where was the concert postponed because of snow? I thought it was MN. I know Virtue lived whereever it was cancelled and she didn’t get to see him. She’s on the East coast now, so maybe she’ll get to see him. Since David won on AI, I had this burning desire to see him or even meet him. I was like rabid. I can only imagine how one must feel when they haven’t seen him in concert. You’ve seen him in concert, right?

Hey supergrand! Yeah, I hope things are ok too. Had the scan for my kidneys. The scan wasnt too bad, just took her a while to find a vein for the IV, lol. Now the waiting game, to find out the results. Pretty nervous right now. Yes, the concert was suppose to be in MN on the first Christmas tour, but it was snowed out. The show could’ve gone on here, the fans would’ve made it, problem was, they couldnt get here. But, I would’ve rather of had them be safe, not risk traveling in that weather. The Fine Feathered Fellows want to have a David Concert at my place when he returns. I told them sounds great, but they’re working the concession stands & clean up duty
Yes, I’ve seen David in concert, the AI concert, the David/Demi concert, Jingle Jam & I saw him at the book signing, I actually got to talk to him
Candy and ABMS- I almost died watching the stream of SLC. If we knew before at West. or PA. I would be very sad in the moment. I think it was wiser to wait to the end to make the announcement. Still can’t get over it. I know he’s happy so that’s some solace.

just got home from Christmas shopping, was in Bath & Body in New Hampshire got so excited the sales girl thought I was crazy, I said that is David Archuleta singing Melodies of Christmas, my daughter said she is a fan of his it was so good to hear his voice there. Made my night. Great post Kalei. That Sleigh Ride video was awesome He really can move when he wants to, love those moves!!!!

Hi Everyone! What a spectacular idea to put together an online David Christmas concert! I’m so thrilled, and looking forward to it! Thanks so much FOD for having us vote for our favorites. Listening to David sing Fa La La La La got me a bit emotional. There he goes again, tearing at my heartstrings as usual!! I think my very favorite Fa La La La La is from Westbury, but it’s not one of the options. So, I chose Stroudsberg. It’s one of his best vocal performances of this song. David’s conversations with the kids in the videos of this song are priceless!!

I’m going to buy Orla Fallon’s Christmas album that includes her duet with David on Silent night, and also the DVD of the Christmas concert. I never did buy those, but loved the concert so much! Wow! I can’t believe I never bought them! Silly me!! I was so pleased that Orla asked David to be a part of her show, and hope she will ask him again in the future! My goodness, so many Christmas memories with David!! It’s simply amazing!!!!

M wishes for a David New Year in 2013: Since he can’t come home a year early then I would love to see Crush released in Spanish, a 3 song album of songs that didn’t make any of his albums such as Save the Day, Senseless…. A music video put out by the Invisible Children organization featuring Broken, and a Christmas CD of songs he has stored away that didn’t get recorded!
There seems to be alot of David on the radio and in the malls – not only his Christmas songs but Crush & SBL.mmmmm Wonder why? Did he earn a bit more respect from others?
I read a comment a day or two ago saying things could have been different if ALTNOY had been promoted more – MO is that Touch My Hand should have been the next single at that time… When I listen to OD and JB songs – I think David’s songs (Touch My Hand, SBL, Crush, Don’t Let Go, Zero Gravity, Waiting for Yesterday, Stomping the Roses, TOSOD ) go better together and would have younger fans following him. Not criticizing – just have some extra time on my hands and thinking about my favorite subject!

lct, I did say that if ALNOY was as big as Crush that maybe David’s career would be in a better place. I do however agree with you about TMH. I think that, omo, the fans might of influence the next single to go out from the album. The fan’s wanted a song that he had written. I do like ALNOY, but you may be right TMH might of been that hit that he really needed. Let’s just hope he has one hit after another when he returns to his career and wows us with his new found confidence.

I am in the process of listening to the beautiful video that was provided in the link above by Kimk and created by Onopurple and it is amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. Every fan should take the time out and view this masterpiece. I was @ the Stroudsburg concert and I feel like I am reliving it in the best possible way. Thank you God for my Bose speakers. lol. This video provides me with what the other fans saw/heard @ the other concerts. Unbelieveable!!!!!! I am so missing David right now.

I sometimes wonder if it was a test for US!
