As you can see David’s fans came out in droves, once again, to make the Baskets of Hope 2012 baskets for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta a HUGE success! So many handmade fluffy huggable bears, beautiful children’s quilts, TONS of books and toys and of course, TONS of David’s Christmas from the Heart CD’s and Chords of Strength. As we all miss Elder Archuleta this holiday season, we can rest assure his music will fill the hearts of many patients that surely could use it this holiday. I thank you again from the bottom of my heart for doing what you do to support BoH. Have a beautiful and blessed holiday!

Has it really been 3 years since the CFTH Tour? 2008 had the Jingle Jams, but 2009 brought the very first Christmas Tour – featuring gorgeous renditions of David’s CFTH melodies – and the suit with the purple shirt and black tie!

Hello everyone! I can feel the spirit of Christmas already with David Christmas songs, I listened to Melodies of Christmas and I need a Silent Night this afternoon, it really feel good. I love Christmas time but of course I’m also missing David.
Hello All, hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving, I was at my daughters for two wonderful days of food, family, fun and shopping.
RMV, the full version was already on YT! Its been removed but probably wont take long till its back. Its going to be a loosing battle, especially when many dont have access to FEE. Not so sure I think its a bad thing as its buzz and keeps his name out there.
Oh and by the way…you wont be disappointed…its by fav David video BY FAR!!! One sexy dude there David! Oh, I did by several copies of FEE so dont feel bad for watching!

Kimk, I do understand about David’s twitter numbers staying the same, but hate that followers are disconnecting completely. Your right about the teens, moving on to the next fun singer , can’t blame them.

cq – not to say its good that follower numbers are decreasing but at the level he’s at (over a million) he gets tons of spam followers so when those accounts get deleted/deactivated, it shows a drop. When lots of new people are following him at the same time, you really can’t see much difference but David is not active so he’s not getting many new followers so you can see when the extras drop off like that.
I would say that most the account unfollowing him are probably gonna be those bots. I just say that based on the way my friends and I use twitter. I follow quite a few artists that I don’t listen to regularly. The only time I ever unfollow them is if they get particularly annoying with spamming my timeline (RTs, constant annoying self-promo, etc.). Obviously David isn’t doing that so I really doubt that lots of people are going through and unfollowing him just because he isn’t putting out new music now. A few maybe but not many. Tbh most people are just too lazy to go through and clean up their following lists that much lol.
Hello everyone! I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving!
I haven’t posted much lately. Been dealing with a flooded condo, which has put a damper on my Christmas plans. I was SO looking forward to putting up my Christmas tree this year while listening to CFTH and GCT. But, now my condo is just days away from it being destructed so it can be rebuilt because of the water damage. It will truely be a miracle to have it put back together by Christmas.
On a more serious note, if this wasn’t enough stress for me to deal with, one of my co-workers fell into a coma this past week and nobody knows if she will ever wake up. I’ve had the added pressure of doing portions of her job in addition to mine while trying to manage my own drama at the same time.
If you would, please pray for my co-worker and her family (and for me) that we all will get through this difficult time and that we all get to have a Christmas miracle this year.
Until then, I will continue to visit FOD when I can, since it’s my refuge away from stress and life in general. FOD is a wonderful place to come to keep your mind of things for awhile and to serve as a reminder that “Things Are Going To Get Better”.

Hi everyone just wanna share something I discovered when voting at Musiqtone or maybe you guys are already doing this lol. After I’m done putting in my 100 votes & the leadership board shows up I click on Vote on The Countdown! (under the heading The Countdown’ on the upper right side) and it allowed me another 50 votes yesterday so that would add up to 150 votes at twice a day we can put in a max of 300 votes daily (if our time permits) Hope I’m making sense here

Tami, I don’t believe they have their own record label (Donny & Marie) They have done albums for MGM, Polydor, Capitol and Curb records that I could find online. Their family has their own studio in Branson, Missouri. They had one in Orem, Utah but I’m not sure if they still use it for a studio. I do believe it’s still standing though.

Was listening to CFTH in my car on Thanksgiving on my way to my son’s house. When I heard O Holy Night, I had tears streaming down my face remembering that David sang that after his mission announcement in Salt Lake City. What an emotional night that was!! kimk, I know what ya mean. Like Linda just said, it will happen for David. I think there will be big buzz when he returns & I think his career will take off. He wanted to, needed to go on a mission, but when he returns, there’s no stopping him, his talent, his heart, too great, too wonderful, too spectacular, too genius to be denied
David will definitely succeed ,when he returns, better than ever. He probably is making plans right now when he has free time. I miss him so. Wish we could share his Chilean experience. He so loves to share with us his past adventures. I know this isn’t a fun trip but still it’s an experience of a life time. Maybe he’ll write a book or make a documentary on his experiences. He has such a fresh way of looking at things. Is it 2014 yet???

That danged Sleepys Commercial got me again…I must be more David starved then I realize. The phone rang, I got up to answer but stopped dead in my tracks when I heard (Again) what I could have sworn was Davids voice. I was so mesmerized that I just stood there not realizing the answering machine had picked up. Yep, the commercial got me again!

Linda, the first time I met David Osmond he had talked about going on a mission to Spain. Alex Boye was his opener for the free outdoor concert they had just done. Alex was talking this tall red-head kid into going on a mission and how the missionaries had taught him, etc. Then David O. chimed in to let them know he had gone to Spain. There’s a lot more that happened to me that day including David O. encouraging me to go back to church. Certainly don’t want to turn this into a preaching session so I’ll leave it at that.
