Things That Make You Go Awwwww
There was a twitter convo earlier this week about a certain video that was pure LOVE. Two young fans attended the Sierra Vista Mall concert in Clovis, CA on November 3, 2010 along with about 1,000 other screaming fans. Like all of us, they wanted to meet David in person and get his autograph, and like for many of us there were just too many fans for them even to get close to him and security was tight so they didn’t even get a chance to meet him as he was heading to his limo to leave. However, what they DID have was the world’s greatest DAD! Watch this vid and have some kleenex handy because I guarantee you that this vid will be shown at both his daughters’ weddings – because nothing says love more than a dad making his little girls’ dreams come true!

Who can forget this early video of a young David at the piano singing A Thousand Miles and ending the performance with that shy smile? This was the video that brought many new fans to the Archie fandom – even those who had not watched David on Idol. There’s nothing like David accompanying himself on the piano while he sings…. gotta laugh about the giant watch – does he think he’s in Asia? lol

Good Morning everyone and THANK YOU Kalei for a FABULOUS post this morning! The RAINBOW buzz has me smiling from ear to ear! Love the sneak peek ~ he’s just glowing as usual and subtle dance moves have me intrigued… lol ~I’m still overwhelmed at the time he spent making sure his fans weren’t left “empty-handed” ~I always knew he was the BEST but he just keeps driving the point home even while he’s away.

On Oct 1st 2010 I created my David Archuleta Fans: Food and Recipes group. I include anything David tweets or blogs about regarding food, and pictures, etc. Plus the fans share recipes. On Oct 5th of 2011 (1 yr anniv of TOSOD) I shared a one year list of food tweets and mentions of David’s. After that the first food tweet he did was Oct 28th. Kimk – today’s EH trend was submitted by an Archie group to FOD to promote for them. It was to promote EH being on MYX and us trying to get it to #1. The TT was submitted to us before the Rainbow sneak peek was released.
I saw a tweet that someone is starting a Rainbow MV TT on Monday Nov. 12th.
I think when we use a # it’s much harder to trend something. We’ve had the most luck just using a phrase and capitalizing the first letter of each word: Everybody Hurts Music Video – might have trended more easily since it appears to be a normal part of a conversation. We posted the TT that was sent to us, but maybe Monday’s TT we can drop the # to help the trend get to WWTT.
Twitter & comments have slowed down quite a bit, which is normal, people are focusing on other things for now, but we’ll all come together to support David when he returns in 2014!
