Two years ago, David Archuleta appeared and performed in Washington, D.C. for the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Challenge. The event was held at the Washington Monument. David tweeted about how much fun he had at the event saying the audience was one of his “favorite crowds I’ve ever gotten to perform for! Such high spirits.” David performed 5 songs for the charity luncheon crowd.

A special project
Just as we are finishing one group card, another special one has been created. In his own words, Cameron Cobb explained to us why he started this project:
This is a new group card, and different than what was done in May. May was 5 months ago, and this card is a special thank you to Kari, for what all she is doing now for ensuring a successful release of BEGIN, and for really going over the top of what she has to do. This includes defending David’s Myspace from hackers as one of the many things that she has done in his absence. I just think that between then and now she has done such a remarkable job on keeping up with things for David and I want to give as many fans as possible, a chance to say Thank You Kari Sellards.
So I did make the deadline near the end of December, as I my self am a procrastinator, I feel for the other procrastinators out there. So I did set the deadline a bit out there, but it is to ensure the maximum number of signatures for Kari to let her know just how much, we appreciate what she does.
Thank you Cameron! And here is a thought! Instead of waiting, take a moment and sign this now. We are lucky to have someone like Kari be a bridge between the fans and David. I hope all of you take this opportunity to tell her how we appreciate and respect her, and to thank her for being here!
Remember, the card is for KARI, not DAVID. Some folks have signed it for David in confusion. (BTW, the birthday card for David is complete and now closed for signing). And it would be a good idea to not tweet it out using her twitter handle to try to keep it under the radar, if possible. We’ll post reminders from time to time. Thanks everyone!

I’ve tried and tried and just do not understand a church that forces families to separate at holidays and not allowing them to attend even their dying mother’s bedside or family funerals. I accept that these boys and girls understand their church’s rules and abide by them without question but as a non Mormon I just don’t get it. I try to accept it on David’s behalf however. Sorry, I saw a comment or comments about missing family at the holidays.

Oinkiers, I think that David already new the importance of family, just by being away from them during the time after AI, when he was traveling a lot. Imo, this time completely away from them will make him miss them more, but I believe he already knows their importance.

You guys are hilarious. When it comes to being technically challenged, I do rule the world — but I was thinking about David’s ultra-blinding smile (those top pics slayed me) and how that ultra-blinding smile would look on other celeb faces. There are a few I can think of who could definitely benefit from having a David Archuleta smile. I just have no idea how to insert his smile on someone else’s face — or someone else’s smile on his face. Hence, the techno-peasantry.

Va- I guess he will change a little bit, loosen up, but not drastic change. He had a stylist in the Philippines, TV5 hired one for him and Bench have their own stylist for David too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVED Davids look in the Philippines! His clothes were fabulous, they fit great, his hair looked fabulous, although I do have to admit I held my breath each time the hair dresser cut it. And the Bench look…Holy Mother of Gorgeousness, one of my all time favorites looks..the clothes, the hair were perfection!
