Hi guys!
Re the AP tribute. Half of the footage was from the cam I was using but I wasn’t the one taking it at that time cos I was onstage singing to David. The one who I left the cam with to shoot accidentally cut the recording midway. Which is heartbreaking cos I recorded the whole Grand Fans Day except for half of AP’s tribute!
I was promised by TV5 that I can get a copy of the whole segment of AP’s segment but learned a while back that the tape was recorded over before a copy was made for me 
So I had to splice the UStream version to make up for the other half. Then I put the english subtitle of what we were singing so international fans can understand what we were saying to him.
David held a copy of the lyrics in Tagalog & English – that was why he was crying. He wasn’t just teary eyed. I noticed that the part that really hit him was (1) when we referred to the new path he will be undertaking and (2) when we said his voice will always be in our hearts.
The 2nd best part for me was when Kricket got a hug from him after delivering her message. After 4 years, despite David being here several of times, it was a 1st for Kricket (Ed Note: YEAHHHH!) . That was more than I ever hoped for when we planned for the tribute.

Important News from Invisible Children
“Whether you lead, or you follow, eventually, everyone will have to move”.
Yesterday, a new video from Invisible Children was released. We all know how much David holds this charity dear to him, and we also know that invisible children is mentioned in Broken. I watched the Oprah segment last night and the video with much interest and renewed respect for this charity, and the dedicated people associated with it. I’ll be chatting more about this organization in a future post.

I think one of the strong reasons that make David “click” in this part of the world (internationally) is we are still pretty much “conservative” just like him while overthere the culture is so open and the youngen like some edgey macho bad boy image kinda guy, so may be that makes David a bit “tame” or not interesting enough…Donny Osmond interview comes to mind !!!

I believe the collective confidence of David’s rockin’ fans is what this remarkable young man turly deserves now and when he returns. Always the trendsetter, he is ahead of the curve when it comes the most worthy of charities and charitable work. It’s part of his DNA.
If it was not for David’s hands-on work for and love of this organization’s mission, I would not know the real depth of the plight of children everywhere. I now help out where and when I can and it makes me feel like I’m making a difference. David always says it will — and I believe him.

Re: IC. I sure don’t get it. They’re spending 69 percent of everyone’s donations making slick, self-indulgent (I’m sorry to say) videos, with almost no concrete things being done to actually help the situation, beyond lobbying politicians to do what they’ve already done. Personally, I think there may be better organizations that spend more than 31 percent of their funds on things that directly help the people.

Suzanne — Raising awareness is fine, but we already have “Stop Kony” stickers all over our overpasses in my town. My question is now what? People are donating millions and IC is trying to get people to spend money to travel from all over the world to march on the White House, but to what end? If they want to influence foreign policy and have us commit more U.S. troops to an African situation, they need to be more specific. It seems to me, like there has to be a much more charitable use of all that money. JMO.

Hey guys!!!! Just wanted to pop in and say hi and that I’m still alive and well.
my hubs has been home for the past 3 months, so you know my odd has to go out the window. But I just gotta say…..wow, 194 days!!!! We are more than 1/4 of the way through this thing!!!
For the past month or so, I have been feeling like I need to come out of lurkdom and express my thanks for all of you who do the front page and then those who support them through comments. But, I couldn’t come up with a screen name–how silly is that? What would indicate the essence of me? I am a grandma, a mom, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a teacher, a community volunteer. Then on Saturday I realized what is inclusive in all those parts of me. And so I introduce me. I’m a Mormon. That is my life. And yes, I know it. Yes, I try to live it. And yes, I love it. And so I am here with a great big THANK YOU. I am blessed by all your words, pictures, videos. I know that not all on this site understand Mormonism and why David has made this mission his choice. But in spite of that, you still love and support him. I am so thankful. Because I want him to continue to make music that I can buy and share with my children and grandchildren and to have his shining example in the world to be noticed and emulated. So thank you and bless you. And don’t worry and no fear–I will not try to turn this site in some kind of forum for Mormonism. Just know that I am so appreciative of all of you.
OMG- I am coming on to share a little story that just happened. I live in an apartment building in Ont. I was taking laundry down to do some washing and when the elevator stopped on my floor, I got on and there were two Elders on the elevator. They were young and very good looking lol. They were so nice starting conversation with me about having a great Thanksgiving and how they were staying with a nice couple in my building about to eat dinner. They were going to the laundry room as well, doing their own laundry and all. I couldn’t even look at them, all I thought of was David, I wanted to ask them if they heard of David but was too shy lol. Wow- that put a smile on my face

Hey pocoelsy! No, we here in the US, celebrate the 3rd Thursday in November every year.
Bychance- Please take yourself out of “time out” and join the party again because you did not do anything wrong!! This reminds me of when my son was a toddler and we received a tiny bench that said “time out” on it from a neighbor as a gift. It was so cute that we left it out, even though we probably only used 2-3 times to discipline my son. He was a really good little guy.
Anyway, even though we seldom put him in time out, he was forever putting himself in time out. I would find him sitting on the chair looking sad or guilty. When I asked him why he had put himself in time out, it was always for something that did not merit punishment at all. He was much harder on himself than I ever would have been. The moral of this story is that, like my son, you did not do anything worthy of a time out. Please come out to play again!

About the cat haha I found that clip on youtube, he/she has over 2 mil view !!! everytime I watched..she never fail to make me laugh my head off…haha the look on her face is the look on our faces when we see David do the unexpected things (I think).
But I can tell you somehow cats, babies who knows what else!! love David’s voice, when I do my editing my cat(s) always sit in front of the pc. watching and listening sometime downright snorring/purring and that have a lot of replay involve haha. They love him <3 Oh my my I talk so much today haha.

Elysian….My son is an only child, I was an only child and my mother was an only child…….I had my son at 34 and he had asthma so bad I had to give him albuterol nebulizer treatments every 2 hours or so until he was 6 and then he was cured and became a baseball and golf jock…All those two hour treatments made me think again about having another child at 34….Anyway….I have David as an adopted son…..Gotta go to bed now….Work calls in the morning……Miss Vicki
