Hi! all, i’m back from church. Sarahhazel and Martha, you guys rawk. You always bring over some of Davids most gorgeous pics. But i was thinking while i was watching them, that David is watched ever second that he is on tv or video. Everything he does and his every move is caught on video or pic. Good for David, but i bet he is relaxing right now from all the attention. But i know he misses it and us. So hurry home David.

sarahhazel- Me and Mr.Sgj were to Stroudsburg VIP and Westbury VIP a few days before. PA was exciting and we had so much fun. David was really relaxed and in the zone. Nothing hurts when I’m at his concerts. I feel wonderful and savor every moment I’m there. Between David’s music and prescence, it was always a good place for me.
supergrand–I know, it’s always a great feeling being in David’s concerts….all worries and stress and pain go away for some reason….LOL….I went to his CFTH concert in Bakersfield a post-knee surgery (1 week)….haha….swelling, bandages and all….didn’t matter!

Strudsburg MKOC Tour after story. When we left the concert at around 19P.M. that night, I drove toward the highway. It was dark at the sign. Went a ways and Mr.Sgj says it looks like I.m going the wrong way. We stop before a off ramp. We are looking at a map and we ar just stopped there. A car pulled up along side of me. A man put his window down and asked where we are going. Apprehensive, I put my window half down. The man said it’s okay because he’s a cop. I took a breath and replied we were going to Stewartville(my daughters house) and we just came from the David Archuleta concert in Stroudsburg. He said follow me and I’ll get you on the right road. Followed him and when we got to the right ramp he stopped dead in the road and got out to tell me to make the turn there. As he was getting back in his car he said Merry Christmas. His license plate was ROBOCOP. It turned out well and we were lucky he was legit. Later we thought that perhaps he was assigned to attend the concert and keep an eye out. It was like an angel from no where. No one else was on the road. Turned out to be a good night all around.

I was flabergasted after listening to the Beaver Creek Good place performance (shared here above) Sounds came out of me that really didn’t sound like words. It came out something like “walalajahamanamajawa”. Wow, I miss that boy!

Linda- don’t forget to put a picture of David on your refrigerator and look at it often. When it’s time to buy tickets it will help you get one before they are sold out. VIP is especially worth it besides getting to meet Mr. Wonderful but you get seats within first ten rows, t-shirt, key chain, VIP neckwear and photo or poster. It came with parking and food &drink too but since VIP Nation does it now, not sure about park. and f&d.

sarahhazel- Yes, it was ILOVEALLACCESS. The VIP we attended in Monclair CFTH Tour at the Wellmont Theater, we got catered roast beef , turkey and all kinds of sandwiches and drinks. Salads and cakes too. Delicious. Parking inc. too. Times have changed but VIP is still worth it. Oh and you are the first ones in the venue. No long lines to stand on. For me that’s the greatest.
Linda- LOL!! I understand what you mean I went to a picnic last weekend and this lady was trying to give me three unopen bag of chips I told her no because I would end up eating them all LOL!! I love junk food while my husband and daughters love healthier foods!!
I just got back on the computer. I saw the Wow link for Forevermore before I went to church and already bought it. That’s alright because I don’t like giving my address out to people unless I know them. Thank you Sharon Mc though for thinking of me and for offering. I will be waiting for some really fun mail for sure! I can’t wait. I play the piano and I can really appreciate good music and good artists. David’s voice is always on key and nice on the ears. He is nice on the eyes too. (smiling big and blushing at the same time).

I think that was the same price as the VIP on the last tour as well. When I first heard the price I was like, woah! But then I saw what some others are charging for VIP. Holy crap. And lots of the big stars don’t even do a M&G or any personal interaction with their VIPs. Craaaaaazy.

Oinkier. The select comfort is the name of the mattress or are they the number mattress. I use to feel old talking about back problems, but not any more. Young people suffer from cyatic problems. The owner of my shop is not even 40 and just had back surgery. She had cyatic problems. my grandson is 19 and he has back problems. So it has nothing to do with getting old.
Judie….sciatica. I have it too. It comes and goes (the pain) and it’s the worst! Hope you feel better.

Linda- Sorry, I didn’t mean to rain on your desire to go to concerts. My problem is I always weigh the pos and cons of things and wind up doing nothing out of fear. David brought out the adventuous side of me. Planing and going to his concerts have been an experience for me . Even getting the tickets got me moving. Nervewracking and exciting at the same time.

Evenin everyone! How’s things?
I’m so nostalgic today because I was at the 9/30/10 event in Roanoke. Only time I’ve seen David live. Such an amazing evening that sometimes I wonder if it happened or if I just dreamt it all up. I just love to look back at the pics; the radio station had a wonderful photographer who posted all the pics on Flickr afterwards. That and Shelley and Muldurs vids, I appreciate them so much. To this day I think SBL from that night is one of my fave performances.

2 years exact. Which I love because I just adore September (my birthday, the weather).
I know, right. Good ol’ 2014. I don’t want to wish the next months and year away though, because it appears David’s doing well and I feel like I need to make the best of each and every month, but darn it.
Life’s just less complicated when your jamming to David’s music or busy trying to decide if you can make it to a tour date or not.
Just watched the WYA video from JackRyan that kimk posted on the previous thread, oh my heck. If David sang that on the Grammys, just like that, he & that song, would be the hottest thing outthere. That was fantastic

Amanda Jane, Roanoke was a really fun show. One of my favorites. I went to it by myself. It was so worth it.

Hey muldur! I really wish I had said hi to you (and Shelley) because your vids are always great and I just love getting lost in them. Amy, Debbie and Catherine pointed you out to me, but I didn’t get to say hi. There were so many FOD’ers there, really a missed opportunity to meet everyone.
I’ll have to share; I picked out a plaid shirt to wear that night. I still own it and love it. The other day a coworker saw the pic I have with David rotate on my screensaver and said “Oh, you both have plaid on…” I was like, um, yeah…I think David kinda caused a lot of folks to go through a bit of a plaid phase.
That’s funny, Amanda. I had on a black and white windowpane plaid shirt. I only remember this because Amy took a couple of pics of me when I was talking to David and she shared them with me.
Sarah, true the ticket buyer experience is always trauma-filled and full of anxiety. Just so worth it in the end.
I don’t know who was more anxious when I was buying my Roanoke tix one early September morning; me or my parents. I think they knew how heartbroken I’d be if I didn’t get them.

Linda-I am a catholic I’m actually one of the five youth group leaders at my church. I am going to be really busy too until my semester ends in December but its ok it keeps my kind busy.
