I don’t always open with a fanvid, but, take a look, and tell me this isn’t worthy of starting off your Monday morning! Here is what Monse wrote about the vid….
When I first heard this song, it instantly reminded me of how I feel being a fan of David. I think it’s the perfect song to describe that feeling we all have towards someone we admire. I finally got the chance to make a video. It’s simple, but I wanted to use some pictures that captured his essence to fit in with the song. Hope you all enjoy it!

We sure hope so! We don’t know if David has been riding a bike or not (maybe Kari could let us know), but we know a lot of missionaries do and it’s a great form of exercise, so we thought it would be fitting to have our new campaign be “Biking with Elder Archuleta”.
Sounds like fun, right? Be sure you wear the necessary safety equipment (helmets, reflectors, safe clothing) and know the correct rules for which side of the street you should ride on for your area and then join in the fun!
Just keep track of your miles for the week BEGIN.ning October 1st, 2012 and report them on Sunday evenings. You may tweet them to @DA2014FitClub or email them to da2014fitclub@gmail.com. Tweet as often as you like about all of your exercise, but remember to report weekly on Sunday evenings for biking. We will be bicycling a total of 5000 miles as a group. Remembering Roanoke!
On Sept. 30, 2010, David Archuleta , along with his buddy Shontelle, sang at an event benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure in Roanoke, VA. A very intimate event, it sold out very quickly!
This vid from K92Radio shows alot of clips edited together. The acoustics are not great, but such a great crowd and a very happy David!
Love how he points at the young girl during Elevator’s ”….what you don’t expect” at 2:44. Nice little piece of advice there

David Archuleta And A Fine Frenzy: The Idolator Meet-Up

Pop singers tend to be busy people. But that’s no reason for them to lose out on the chance to meet new friends who share common interests — even if those friends are also busy pop singers. Which is why we recently took it upon ourselves to introduce two amazing artists who didn’t know each other, but should. We arranged a visit between the velvety smooth singer David Archuleta and the sprightly songbird Alison Sudol, who performs as A Fine Frenzy. (We genuinely had no idea at the time, but she inspired the title track on his new album, The Other Side Of Down).

Here’s how it went down. We asked David, who’s been knocking out one silky performance after another in the run-up to his album, if there was anyone he’d always wanted to meet. (Because, you know, we have such HUGE Hollywood connections…) David sent over a very short list that included Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, and… Alison. As it happens, we do know someone who knows someone who knows her. (And we adore“Electric Twist”). We made a few calls and … voila! Meeting set.
We arranged for the two artists to meet at Hollywood’s fancy new W a few weeks ago while David was in town. And… it was the sweetest thing we’ve ever seen.
It turns out the two had plenty to talk about. David quizzed Alison about songwriting, and Alison (who has started work on her next album!) wowed David with details of the whimsical book she’s written. See for yourself.

I like Notice Me very much, more than Wait & Everything and More in TOSOD ATE. Wonder why David didn’t sang it in Asia during the signing and at the concert 2011. Wish we could hear him sing Notice Me live one day.
Seems like there are a lot of David songs that was not release, only those leaked songs we know, but I guess there are more that we don’t know. Just compile it and make into an album so we could hear all lol, that it will not put to waste.
I could imagine David holding his kids in the future lol, he seems like to carry a baby. Very cute.
From the last thread, I like the Thai fans video and the artistic Thai fan who draw David face, there are a lot of very artistic fans of David. Many of them can draw well.

I would be so great for some of the songs that David wrote and recorded, but didn’t make any of the albums, to be released for us fans to enjoy. I could understand legal problems if they were written by someone else, but his own songs, really don’t see a problem. Just an idea to keep those fires going until he returns.
One thing that we have to look forward to this month is the Rainbow MV. I just hope that David will be doing more dancing then what we have already seen. I’ll take anything though, lol.

Janel-I was just thinking this weekend about the 2 year Anniversary of TOSOD coming up! Awesome album, falsetto and all if you ask me! It’s always been hard for me to pick my very fav song from that album. TOSOD, Falling Stars, MKOP, and Who I Am are tops for me! I really wish TOSOD was released as a single here in the U.S. instead of Something Bout Love, even though I do really like that one. Oh well!

I just watched JR’s vids again. I can’t even express how much I love them. Oops, forgot to add details about my dolly. Sorry got side tracked. No she’s an actual doll, among 7 of a collection of Madame Alexander dolls. I used to have a lot more but moved so many times in my life that some were either lost, broken beyond repair, or malled by a doberman we used to have (hated that dog). So, down to 7. She is one of my oldest dolls.
My friend Sandy told me about a place in Colorado that repairs dolls. It’s supposed to be good, so going to call them tomorrow.
