Remember David’s Live Chat?
Robin (aka Heartsong) was perusing David vids and came across this live chat vid from October, 2010 – thanks for sharing! There are so many David vids to choose from on You Tube that you can get lost there for hours – or days lol! I love watching his interview vids, because even if I’ve seen them before, I always pick up something new – the way he says a certain word, or the way he talks with his hands, or some of his cute facial expressions.
This live chat is recorded in 4 parts, thanks to JR4DA for uploading them! They’re a tad on the long side (14+ minutes each) but I’m sure you’ll agree that we can never get enough of David talking, lots of random bursts of singing, shoulder shimmies, answering fan questions and we learn a whole bunch of his favorite things! He shows us all the bracelets on his backpack lol – and he admits that he doesn’t have a best friend at the moment… ANY VOLUNTEERS? I vote that David does another live chat when he returns in 2014! Cindy (aka canadianarchie) is a collage queen! In a matter of minutes she created some amazing collages of David pics that are totally poster-worthy! Like enlarge them and wall paper your room! I love that the different collage themes remind me of David songs too – well most everything reminds me of David songs haha! Thanks Cindy for sharing!

Gosh I love Barriers! Especially in the early days when David did all the hand motions! I was at the Del Mar Fair, and this performance is totally fun and flirty – check out David’s facial expressions in this vid – the eyebrows – oh my!

Nothing beats an amazing rendition of My Hands – I love this acoustic version from the Altar Bar in Pittsburgh, it’s a little different than other versions you’ve probably heard, but it’s totally awesome – his hair is awesome too!

This performance of Something ‘Bout Love is also from the Altar Bar in Pittsburgh – David has a little trouble wrestling with the mic at the start because it won’t come loose from the mic stand – so he sings sitting at the piano until help arrives to free the mic so he can stand up and sing! She added his first Christmas album to her pandora. So she can play during Christmas at work. We may have a new fan.

sarahhazel – I was thinking of city orchestras like in Ann Arbor. They have their season and they often add guest vocalists to their dates. I think the orchestra invites the vocalist as a draw for their season, but I’m not sure. I think David would probably charge them. If someone out there knows how this works, let us know. I have a friend that has connections with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra (they had James Taylor sing with them and others), I may ask him.

sarahhazel-YES! David absolutely needs to record a Spanish album. I really don’t have any doubts that he will. I’ll bet anything he’ll end up with a few hit Latin singles from it as well! I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE!!!! I think a new album released in 2014 might be pushing it though. He did say he’s got some things in the works for his return, but I’m not expecting an album that year. I’ve got my fingers crossed to a Christmas tour though!
I liked David with his spikey hair, when he was younger, but i like His hair the way he was wearing it before he left. especially when he combs it back away from his forehead.

Hello Everyone! Favorite David hair style, when he sang the NA in Utah, wearing the light blue shirt, the dark blue vest & white pants. Also during an interview he did on the news that day, thick on top but not spikey, off his forehead, for the most part. that was stadium of fire, I think.

I pulled out GCT DVD today……couldn’t help myself. I never listen to Christma music til after Thanksgiving…….that is til David. Oh, I loved watching him in that classy tux, singing so beautifully…..it was this DVD that i first felt the Archumagic so it holds a special place in my heart. I’ll just be starting Christmas music a little early this year. Don’t think I’ll be tired of it by Jan……..and then it will be Feb. and March and we will have made through the whole first year!!!!!! Woohooo!!!!!

I just finished watching Part 2 of David’s video chat. He’s too much, LOL!! I loved someone’s question about what kind of sandwich he’d want to be. Melinda was talking to him in the backround, and I said “Oh no, it’s that god aweful Melinda”. But then I thought that wasn’t the most Christian attitude to have, but the fact is, she could have been so much better to him!

All the comments of David’s hair are so sweet. I think it’s unanimous we love his hair any which way he wears it. Have to admit Beth, you hit the Stadium of Fire look as the best. I agree. Anita……I have just finished listening to David’s live chat……took a little while! I think he was adorable, kind, sweet, funny, thoughtful, cute as a bug, honest, real, random, and just all the things we love about him……..yea…..all over again.
I loved watching the live chat, I’ve never seen most of it before. It was kinda like having David back for an hour! He made me laugh quite a few times and all the random singing was awesome! We are so lucky to have all these videos and pictures to go through, I was watching some vids of David when he was 11 today and it was fun to do. Well good nite all, so glad that there are others as “addicted ” to David as I am!

I just finished watching the live chat too. Lucy, it was like having David back talking to us. My favorite was his description of Filipino mangos: “a smoothie with a peel”.
