MyDearWriter updates us on importance of Josh Bradley concert
Pastel interjecting, on my own post lol.
Alot of buzz today re: the Josh Bradley concert and requirements for fans regarding attendance, timing, etc. Rules are rules, and schedules are schedules. I personally hope as many as possible take this opportunity to be part of what is likely to be a once in a lifetime event (until the inevitable sequel due to popular demand!). Does it mean rearranging things at the last minute for many? Yes. Will everyone be able to do that? No. It’s very hard and not doable for many. No one says being a fan of David is always convenient, but it’s so worth it and I have clocked several hundred miles and airplane tickets just to prove that point. I know from personal experience that spontenaity and flexibility are two important characteristics for a fan to have. And patience, in long lines, in general admission venues, etc. And sometimes priorities will prevail, and that’s understandable too, and expected. But if there is any way to see David sing, you should. The answer ALWAYS has been, for me anyway, if given an opportunity, go see David. I am so thankful and blessed when it all comes together; I can’t complain
The organizers have done so much work to get to this part..it’s up to the fans to play an important part too if you are able! And what you can do as fans is also represent all of us who can’t be there but are rooting for the success of the project in this very important scene! And for David’s success! I know David hopes to see so many faces in the crowd! We are excited for you! He gives a rawking concert, as David and as Josh too!

We got a few tweets from Mac Alejandre…and twitpics!
The next three pic are from @macalejandre: David Archuleta and Mac:
David Archuleta and Ana. The expression! Caught with your hand in the cookie jar? Or more like the rice cake package?
David eating ampao. For the record, he ate balut , too (according to Mac).

What is ampao?
According to “Everything Cebu”:
The ampao is a sweet puffed rice cake that is one of the famous delicacies in Cebu because of its sweet and crispy taste. It is also an inexpensive snack of Cebuanos and a popular gift for tourists and visitors.
Many locals say that the ampao is the Philippine version of the Rice Krispies made famous in America. The ampao is a white, sweet and crunchy delicacy sprinkled with peanuts. The addition of peanuts brings out the natural ampao flavor. Syrup made with sugar and kalamansi juice is poured into it and mixed thoroughly with the rice-peanut mixture, and then poured into a mold. The mold can take the shapes of squares or rectangles as big as your palm, or in bite-size shapes.
The original ampao is white and wrapped in a clear plastic when sold. However, there is a smaller bite-size square ampao and comes in different colors ranging from pink, green and yellow. The smaller-size ampao has its own distinctive sweet taste compared to the original bigger ampao. Many locals eat ampao together with other native desserts and with cool refreshing beverages.
Sounds like a great snack to me!

So, what is Josh going to sing?
At the Josh concert this Friday, Josh won’t be singing David Archuleta songs on the show. So, what what’s left lol?
Rumour has it that we will hear David’s recording of Wherever You Are in the Nandito Ako series! Rumour from Jay Durias, that is. I can’t wait to hear it!
Here is Regine Velasquez ‘s version, with Jay on the piano!
And MunkFOD generously posted the lyrics in our comments:
Lyrics to Wherever You Are
I LOVE TO SEE THE OCEAN’S BEAUTY
AND THE MOON THAT SHINES ABOVE
ALONE IN THE SAND LOOKING AT THE STARS
WISHING SOMEDAY I WOULD FIND TRUE LOVE
WOULD IT BE NICE TO SEE THE MORNING
WITH THE ONE YOU LOVE THE MOST
WOULD IT BE NICE TO SAY GOODNIGHT
TO THE ONE YOU HOLD SO CLOSE TO YOUR HEART
TO YOUR HEART.
THE WIND THAT BLOWS THE DOVE
IS THE WIND THAT BLOWS MY LOVE
HOPE IT’LL FIND ITS WAY TO YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE.
I LOVE TO SIT IN FIELDS OF GREEN
LOOKING DEEPLY THROUGH THE SKY
WATCHING BIRDS AS THEY FLY BY
HOPING SOMEDAY FATE WILL BRING ME TRUE LOVE.
WOULD IT BE NICE TO HOLD SOMEONE
SO DEAR, NEAR YO UR HEART
WOULD IT BE NICE TO HEAR THOSE WORDS
I LOVE YOU FROM THE ONE THAT YOU LOVE,
THAT YOU LOVE.
I’D LOVE TO SEE MYSELF ONE DAY
IN THE ARMS OF SOMEONE
WHO WILL SHARE HER LIFE WITH ME
YOU WILL FIND YOUR WAY…TO ME…

Our Dear Writer shares her excitement!
A sampling of TV5′s Nandito Ako writer’s (aka @MyDearWriter’s) tweets. You can NEVER say the TV5Manila team has not done their best to share what they can, sharing their excitement with the entire fanbase!
She (I am assuming MDW is a she!) said she’d continue to tweet past the actually film shoot, and then mentioned the number of days in 2 calendar years ~ 730 Given what we have seen so far from MDW, I suspect there may be even more details to fill each of those 730 days!
Another late night post *yawn* but you can rest assured I’ll be back during the day on Wednesday to update with everything happening on Manila Wednesday time! I know I will sleep, one day!
