“He takes you out of your head and puts you into his heart.”

Recently making a comeback to pop music after his two year mission in Chile is David Archuleta a gifted singer who has been significantly missed. Fans waited restlessly for almost four years to hear him perform, and in his own words has started a warm up concert tour.

Many couldn’t help but wonder if a successful comeback was even possible, but after listening to his first four concerts it is apparent he hasn’t missed a beat, delivering as he only can, heartfelt music, even with a bout of flu which consisted of a cancellation half way through his second night in Utah.

David stepping into the spotlight once again is a reminder of a few artists that have taken time off, only to return to form or in some cases even better than they were before they left. And in David’s case I believe he is better than he has ever been. His tone is deeper, richer and more resonant than ever before and that pulls you in as a listener.

David creates his own original interpretation of a song and creates an emotional response. Passion and conviction is one of his most important achievements. His songs are a portal for his personal style and individuality.

David never takes himself out of the moment of his song or his audience. A lot of singers are great musicians but they think they are the gift. David knows, it not about him, it’s about what you do with the gift. He gives joys to people, and that is his and our rewards.

David new album soon to be released will probably include a new co-written song “Numb” a song that is a personal introspective of his feelings today.  David’s upcoming new album has been long awaited and hopefully will give us an insight to his future direction in music and goals.

Success doesn’t happen in a single moment, the journey between inspiration and greatness is filled with a thousand small steps. With these concerts in Idaho and Utah David has started the process of a great renewed career.

Look at David’s upcoming performance schedule on davidarchuleta.com so you don’t miss a concert.

Concert Recap from Jani!

Jani sent in a wonderfully detailed recap from Day 1 of her concert experience in Idaho Falls with promises for Day 2 and both shows at Layton!  We love to hear fan stories and re-live all the excitement of David’s concerts!  Each fan has a different perspective, and remembers different details, so we get a well-rounded view of what it felt like to actually be there listening to David sing (and talk) live!

Thank you Jani, and all fans who have shared their fan stories with us, and to those fans that will share their stories from the upcoming shows! 🙂

This is a rambling attempt to recap four days of amazingness!

Day One: Sweeeeet & Stunning

After much excitement, planning, packing, and travel, I made it to Idaho Falls on Wednesday night, and met up with Sharon (from MN) and her husband John at the hotel. It felt a bit like Christmas Eve as a kid. I was too excited to sleep, full of anticipation, and sensed a bit of magic in the air! It was David’s first concert back, and I was really going to see and hear him LIVE!!!

Thursday morning brought more butterflies, as I thought about David and what HE must be feeling. Was he as excited, nervous, scared, and happy to be on that stage again as I was for him??? I kept telling myself to calm down, he had done plenty of singing in the last 4 years, and he would be fine, he would be great! (He would, wouldn’t he??) Later, the butterflies and excitement multiplied when I met up with Sharon and we got a peek into the theater and stage. A band set-up!!!!! Aaaccckkk!!! That made me happy! I could not stop smiling!

After a nice walk around the Falls and shops, pics in front of David’s posters, and an early dinner at the Snake Pit, (ha love that name), it was time to walk to the theater! How fun to meet and visit with other fans and just be there! I bought the t-shirt, (Liked the pic of D on the front, but plan to give it to a young fan friend; she’ll love it!), and then it was time to go inside! Eeeekkkk!!! This was really happening!!!

I found my seat, J28, settled in, enjoyed watching those around me, especially the excited young girls. Then miracle of miracles! Sharon came over and said that dear Shelley, (oh, how can I ever thank you enough?!?) had a ticket that wasn’t being used for the 2nd row smack in the center!!!!!!! She dragged me up there (thank you, Sharon!), and I was dying! Dying!!! Could this get any better???!!!

Well, of course it did! After Gracie’s set, (really liked her, and thought she was darling,) and the intermission, which felt sooo long, the band finally took to the stage, and we cheered for David to come out. My heart was pounding, I was on the edge of my seat, and finally, THERE HE WAS , walking to the mike, with the crowd erupting, welcoming him back. Next thing I knew, he was right in front of me! And I must say, looking mighty FINE!! I loved the charcoal, tweedy knit jacket, white t, black skinny jeans and the DRESS BOOTS!!!!! Holy moly, his hair looked great, and his smile, skin, and sparkly eyes! Was this really the same young man that lifted and stole my heart watching GCT? That I’ve seen in a million viewings of AI and concerts? The same guy in the Bench shoots and music videos, from Crush to Contigo, to Nandito Ako and Glorious? The same one I’ve listened to in countless interviews, with a book that I’ve read every word twice? Was this really the guy whose voice I’ve listened to on dozens of car trips and danced to in my kitchen? The same voice that would soothed my heart one day, and make me glad to be alive on others? Really??? Yes, yes, yes!!!! The same guy only better! He was there in the flesh, and not 15 feet in front of me! I couldn’t take my eyes of off him. I tried to take some pics, but found it so difficult to calmly do that, that I decided I just needed to stay “in the moment.”

And then he started to sing. That voice! It was surreal to hear live what I’ve heard on recordings so many times. It was richer and better, and real and wonderful! And watching him! Oh my goodness! He sang with every fiber of his being. Every part of him was feeling and expressing the music from his head to his toes, in those fabulous shoes! I knew people said he was better live, but seriously, now I knew what they were talking abut!

I was happy to see how quickly he seemed to get comfortable, and how natural it all became after the first song or two. I was blown away by his stage presence and natural charisma. He exudes something indescribable. I had not expected this! Being so close I could witness every little nuance, grin, expression, and movement. In a matter of a few minutes I was “hypnotized,…..so mesmerized,” and loving every second. A few times I had to just flop back in my seat, having completely turned to mush. 😉 With every song he seemed to get stronger and more in command of the stage. I don’t know if I could pick a favorite, I loved them all because HE was singing them.

When he spoke, I hung on every word, as I have always loved his speaking voice, too, and we know he often says things that are endearing, wise, and wonderful. He opened his heart to us. When he told us he had called his manager and said, “I don’t think I want to do this anymore,” my heart stopped. I wanted to cry. Here we were clamoring for him back then, and he wasn’t sure if he could do it, or wanted to. When he said he was so happy on his mission that it felt like a step down to be back to the “real world” and his career, my heart ached a bit. (Oh, David. Thank you for seeing that through and continuing on!) In other moments, he was upbeat, funny and charming and I remember turning to Sharon once and saying, “He is as adorable as ever!” He seemed to be happy and enjoying himself up there! That made it all the better. (Of course, David, you made the right choice!)

MaryDee gave us a wonderful write up about each song, and I loved and agree with all she said. He was simply amazing. I was stunned by his talent, by his soothing, beautiful, powerful voice, and the things he did with it; the perfect pitch, and the way he drew me in to each song, and made me feel it. I knew all of this, of course. I’d heard about it before. But to experience it up close was something else entirely! I don’t think I could pick a favorite song or moment. The night ended way too soon, with a standing ovation and encore, and I walked, perhaps floated, out of the theater in a happy daze. Yes, he was back and better than ever! And it was also better than Christmas, in a way, because I would get to do it all again tomorrow!   (to be continued)…….

*  *  *  *  *

I’m feeling the ArchuBlues – after so much excitement and four David shows full of fun and fan friends, it’s hard to get back to Real Life.  We have the BYU Spectacular coming up – wonder if he’ll sing some new songs? Then Tuacahn in November which will be super fun!  And of course we can’t forget the Christmas Shows! Hoping for some all across the United States so everyone can share in the holiday cheer!

I’ll update this post if news rolls in, otherwise Pastel will be back with a new post on Monday!

  1. Alwaysafan says:

Morning all, I just read that Kelly Clarkson had to cancel the rest of her tour, she had 16 shows left, she has to be on vocal rest for the rest of the year. I sure hope Davids voice is better now, must be a bit scary for a singer to have that happen.

  2. Alwaysafan says:

By the way, love the recent posts here, so many awesome pictures! David sure has grown into quite the handsome man 😉

  3. VaBeachArchie says:

Good morning Alwaysafan and FOD! HAPPY weekend!

  4. kimk says:

Kalei wow love these beautiful pics of David and the fans this post rocks thank you!!!

Always oh dear didn’t know she cancelled that much this is sad Sam Smith just went thru surgery. David only has one vocal chord sure do hope he is ok. his voice is just so precious!! 🙁

  5. Miss Vicki DA#2014 says:

Love all the new pics of David….and yes Alwaysafan…..David is quite handsome….Haven’t heard from him since the shows…..hope he is taking care of himself and recuperating……Hey VaBeachArchie….how’s the weather down there????? Heard there are big waves….just rain here in Richmond……anyway…it could be worse…..doesn’t look like we will get much from any hurricanes this year…..Off to do errands…..Miss Vicki

    • VaBeachArchie says:

Good morning Miss Vicki! Weather better then expected…but Neptune Festival activities had to be either canceled or moved to the convention center. ENJOY your day my friend!

  6. MexArchie says:

Hello: I was able to listen David at concert on Monday in Layton. It was something fantastic listening him singing live for my first time. But I have an impression that the public was something cold or unmotivated on Monday. I not heard the hullabaloo that is heard in other live performances I have seen in YouTube. What is your opinion of Layton’s Monday audience? Thanks and greetings

    • Janel aka Nellie says:

Interesting I heard a lot different reactions from people than the one you had. I guess it’s different perspectives is all. My daughter and I were there Saturday and there was definitely a little somberness because David was sick and we were more worried about him than getting a full concert, well at least those I spoke to were. Maybe it was the same because Monday he was still sick, but had his sister to some of his talking and his mom and Aunt sang a song with him. I’m unsure how many songs he sang Monday but I know Saturday was shortened by at least a half hour maybe more. He did try though, bless his heart. And the fans were still behind him and with him singing when he recruited our help.

  7. cc halo says:

I can’t really answer your question, but I’ve been to five David concerts, including a VIP and a front row center rehearsal, and I think that it depends a lot on where you sit. The videos are often by people who are front and center and surrounded by super fans, so you’d feel a lot more enthusiasm than if you are way in the back. I had a much stronger emotional reaction when we were up front for VIP, than when I was up in the balcony.

  8. kimk says:

MexArchie wasn’t there but wasn’t David’s voice under the weather? could be a reason for it.. or maybe the crowd was new to David just heard of him cause where the concert was?
last two concerts I went to of David’s one last one was in Stroudsburg PA and one before that in Myrtle Beach that was outside were very supportive and crazy for David.
Myrtle Beach most didn’t even know who he was just what they knew was that voice and that was killer great night that one.
Stroudsburg we were not allowed to stand up etc but we still went wild for him he knew we loved him.

maybe someone else who was there could chime in let us know the scoop.

come to a tour concert when he gets going most are fans of David not necessarily know of him cause of where he is from or his church.

    • MexArchie says:

Well, I think his voice was perfect and the concert was very emotional because of his Little sister on stage and mom and aunt singing and dancing with him. Also very emotional were he said he wanted to talk with the audicence more but he had to keep his voice for singing. I had a general admission seat with great view. It was great to arrive early and hear his in the sound check. Gracie Schram was great to…

  9. cq says:

MexArchie, it’s really to hard to evaluate the enthusiasm of the audience unless you were there. Yes, as Kim said maybe someone that was there can chime in…
I got a vibe from the videos and a picture of merchandise that included his dvds that were church projects, that these concerts had a relegious vibe, but was told by fans that were there, that was not the case at all, so there you go.

    • kimk says:

saw Deseret Books peeps selling his merch lol folks said David should look what Gracie was selling etc my guess not all that exciting.. guessing sponsors? you mean crowd mostly lds so quieter or there cause David and his ties with the church?
didn’t folks come on and say that was not the case?
got me whatever the case should of whooped up a storm it was David for goodness sakes.
maybe that means going forward David will go with us whipper snappers more fun. 🙂

      • Ali says:

I read Taterzen’s recap of Idaho Falls 2nd night over at SnowAngelz and she said the crowd was very loud and involved.

Idk about the other shows but all the recaps I’ve read said the crowds were supportive. Not sure about volume level.

        • kimk says:

loved tatertot’s recap.. wish I was right with her when DA sang to her.. lol so would of posted the pic!! 🙂

        • Janel aka Nellie says:

As far as volume level even on Saturday when he was sick, volume level went up and down depending on the song, some of the cheers and volume that went up was in our support and love for him because it was so obvious how sick he was.

    • MexArchie says:

      Any religious vibe, I’m sure.

  10. Jani says:

MexArchie, where were you seated? Where I was there were folks all around cheering, clapping, three young girls in front of me sang and chair danced through every number, girls next to me were on their feet as soon as he came out, and the guy and his wife on the other side, the guy yelled, ‘love that song, David!’…plenty of warmth and welcome all around that I could see. Since I had just come from IF where the crowd was very enthusiastic and loud, I did notice that the crowd sound was not quite as loud, but chalked it up to noise dispersing through the night air as opposed to a contained venue. I’m not sure what your experience was because what I saw were folks applauding, cheering, woohoing….he got standing O. Possibly because he wasn’t able to speak and engage the crowd Monday night quite as well, it was slightly more subdued, and people also knew he was sick, and didn’t want to ask for more from him? Not sure, there were a good number of middle aged and older folks there on Monday night, too. Maybe they were just a bit quieter bunch than us Archie’s who will scream and jump and cheer no matter our age, lol. A lot of YouTube vids have a lot of screaming girls? I don’t know. I thought the crowd was very receptive and showed their love for him. Maybe not in as crazy a way as you have seen on vids? But I felt there was no shortage of support for him at all. But then these are my first concerts, too, and I have nothing else to compare them to. In any case I’m glad you thought he was fantastic. Me, too!

  11. kimk says:

Jani lol waving my hands me me!!!!! DAVID DAVID DAVID!!!! 😀

well just hope poor guy is feeling better got that voice back scares the heck out of me him loosing it!!

  12. Kalei says:

    Hi Archies!
I agree that the noise level in an outdoor venue is going to seem less than in an enclosed theater where the screams echo off the walls! At the Monday show, everyone knew David wasn’t feeling well, so I think people were being less loud so David wouldn’t have to strain his voice to sing over the crowd – a quieter venue meant he could sing softer and conserve his voice.

I wasn’t there, but from fan stories and vids, it seems David got a very warm and enthusiastic welcome!

Big thank you to Janet Packer for sharing her Day 1 of Idaho Falls recap! She promised to share all 4 shows that she attended – so stay tuned this coming week for more of her concert experience!

Archies going to Tuacahn – please RSVP for the fan lunch on Saturday 11/7 – more details to come!

Another hurricane is heading our way – getting tired of these storms that bring hot, humid weather ugh – we want FALL!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    • Jani says:

Uhmmm, Kalei, that’s me with the recap, ha, didn’t know my full name came up in your email, instead of screen name, not that it really matters. 😉 I am a bit long winded sometimes, others will be shorter! Just want to remember my experience.

      • Kalei says:

Is that you Jani! Oh my I’ll update the post with your screen name. Your email had your full name. Thanks for an amazing recap!

      • Kalei says:

Oh we LOVE long detailed recaps! For fans who couldn’t be there, detailed stories really help us feel like we were right there with you! Keep ’em coming!

    • sydnie says:

Thank you Kalei! I wish I could join but will be out of the country again. I actually have tickets for both shows, if anything changes will let you know pronto!

  13. kimk says:

BYU homecoming my guess will be mostly youngens.. bet folks will whoop it up big time. hope for vids.

  14. kimk says:

was at Myrtle Beach was mad for David.. they didn’t even know him and it was outside don’t think that is it.

  15. kimk says:

ha we all were screaming DAVID DAVID DAVID and after folks swamped both sides of the stage to try and get to him. lol what a star.

    • Jani says:

Still a star, in my book, but maybe not the teen heartthrob? The young folks at BYU better whoop it up. I bet they will.

    • cq says:

lol, fun times!! Yes, all the excitement and fans letting loose is part of the concert experience and I think that performers feed off of that excitement. It will be fun hearing videos with a healthy David (hoping for some away) from the next three concerts.

  16. kimk says:

Jani kind of think Ariana Grande who opened for David was more of a teenie bopper thing she was very Disney kind of think David’s performance/band at MB was outstanding not much teenie feeling that night maybe MKOP that was it? as for heartthrob that might be it more subdued not so edgy current type thing I suppose?

  19. Beth, Freud, Lloyd, Boyd & Floyd says:

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing well 😀

Hey Kim! Interesting, I don’t think of MKOP as a young persons
song, in that, there are many people looking for their MKOP, still,
just haven’t found that person. Gives me hope 😀 , that I will 😳 😀
I think Jani is right, people were taking it easy on David on Monday,
since he couldn’t talk. D’s fans can sense how to help David out sometimes.
We’re quite brilliant ya know 😉 Hey, moving day for you, is approaching.
Gosh, bet you have tons to do yet. Moving, one of life’s greatest pleasures, lol.

there is a temple in Lubbock TX not too far away so maybe tickets will pop soon with these October shows

  21. kimk says:

think way David was singing it before his mission was teenie bopper ish least way I saw it not bad just cause that was who he was very young inexperienced
his MKOP in Idaho that I saw was great agree..
I am sorry that you have not found your MKOP lol my suggestion travel more go see the world fly.. you will meet your guy.
or lol go to the dump.. some guy was flirting with me helping me get rid of my truck load of stuff the other day young guy too cracked me up. made me feel good though
seriously though can’t meet folks you don’t open yourself to the world you can do it if you want.

thing is Mex Archie was there and she was wondering why etc..
just know from being at shows if we were there David would of known he was loved voice or not

    https://youtu.be/L2MPbJ4eoik

    • Beth, Freud, Lloyd, Boyd & Floyd says:

lol, the dump, have to say, I never thought of that 😆
I guess one of the reasons I am such a fan of Davids, is that
I’m an introvert too, hard to put myself out there, but I’m
taking steps to do that. Thanks for the encouragement 😀

  22. kimk says:

wait Shelly and Liz and kids were there.. lol they crack me up really great Archies.
sounds like Jani is one too way to go!!
Janel too off the top of my head
not all go wild when they see David makes sense especially if the fan is older why I am so happy he is doing this BYU concert.

  23. kimk says:

doesn’t really matter about all this anyway David himself said these were warmup shows ha I like that warmup for what? sure hope there is a tour a CD and tons of folks go and buy a ton of his music.

  24. kimk says:

Beth ha yeah any place that guys frequent works like Home Depot, Lowes.. hockey games (ha not that I am looking) do understand though but true can’t meet folks you don’t open yourself to?

    • Beth, Freud, Lloyd, Boyd & Floyd says:

Yeah, actually I met a couple of nice guys while looking at
birthday cards. They got a kick out of the fact that I was
laughing up a storm, lol, unfortunately, they were just in
town, visiting family. Two diff guys, about a year a part,
same situation, both lived far away. Well, maybe I need to
go buy another card. Home Depot is a thought. Hmmm, took
me a little while to get the guts to comment here at FOD and
that was 7 years ago 😀 I’m making progress, lol.

  25. missbianca says:

Jani, I just LOVED your recap! The ones from those seeing him for the first time are the best and you described so well the, “You told me but it was so much MORE” feelings. Thanks so much!

    • Jani says:

aww, thanks, miss B. Mostly just want to remember the experience and how I felt….writing down helps. It was pretty awesome, that’s for sure.

  26. kimk says:

you don’t have to be a teen heartthrob to be well loved supported.. look at what has been going on with the Pope. lol he is being treated like a rock star 🙂

    • Jani says:

True! I do think he was well loved and supported in these four shows. I was there, too, and lots of peeps were on their feet cheering with me. Maybe I just haven’t seen enough shows, but I thought the crowds were great. He kept thanking us over and over. Dang it, now I want to go to AZ.

  27. My2Cents says:

I have a question. Rhiminee did a great job at desciphering the lyrics to David’s new song “Numb”. In the chorus he supposedly says…

That I don’t wanna feel numb
Falling over all of my shadows
    Yeah I’m all done

But I’m NOT hearing “Yeah I’m all done”. I’m not sure what he’s saying, but I don’t hear the word “done” in that line at all. Does anyone want to take a stab at what he might be saying there? I just can’t make it out.

  28. Beth, Freud, Lloyd, Boyd & Floyd says:

Goodnight Everyone, Take Care All! 😀

    • Jani says:

Night Beth. Your MKOP’s gotta be out there, out there. :)…don’t know about the dump, lol, but maaaaybe. Hugs.
I think about you now and then missing your dad. I hope it’s gotten easier.

  29. sydnie says:

Kalei, thank you so much for this fantastic thread full of beautiful pics and fascinating concert recaps! But are your sure you meant to post my blurry MKOP pic under the “more georgous pics” category haha! 🙂

  30. Alwaysafan says:

“Sometimes you can’t explain what you see in a person, it’s just the way they can take you to a place where no one else can.” I saw this saying on Facebook, doesn’t it kind of describe how we feel about David?

  31. sydnie says:

Jani, really appreciate your concert recap….wow you made all 4 shows How Awesome!
I was only able to attend the 2nd Layton show, it was amazing & I’m still basking in the PCH! 😀
The venue was really cool, very laid-back with lush green lawns & the colorful lighting/lanterns added to the relaxed & whimsical atmosphere, could be reason the audience came off a bit low key but from my vantage point fans around us were enthusiastic & animated…..well, I sure was anyway! 😀

    • Jani says:

I thought the venue was cool, too….kind of picnic atmosphere out on the grass. Had reserved seating the second night so closer, but there was something fun about being in lawn chairs on the grassy slope, too.
So glad you got to go. Yes, I feel very grateful I could attend all 4 shows, but in spite of that, it didn’t feel like enough, lol….he definitely left me wanting more! Hoping for the Christmas one, and that they announce details soon.

I love the pictures and recaps.
At the BYU homecoming event there will be lots of us OLD alumni and students too. I don’t do much screaming and neither do my daughter, son-in law and gson who are going with me. It will be interesting. We don’t scream but thoroughly enjoy him.

Again – As soon as the first note of Crush struck everyone immediately stood up and sang along! David also got several standing ovations even with his less than 100% vocals, I thought the crowd was fine. Based on the post concert convos overheard while we waited for our driver, fans were excited, happy & satisfied! 😀

Anywhooo making use of my time waiting for her to come back in to stop by~

JANI- LOVED your day 1 recap!! It reminds me of those “I’m-seeing-him-live-for-the-first-time!!” stories we got all through the summer of 2008 when David was touring with AI! I love all of your details about the anticipation, excitement, the crowd’s jubilation, his emotion, delivery, passion…etc… So wonderful!!! And it was sooooo kind of Shelley to get you that extra ticket up close!!! 🙂
I’m glad you were there with Sharon to REPRESENT from MN, too. I miss “GMAX” and John… we all need a get-together in “Minni” (I hope Beth heard that, too) 😉
Looking forward to the next recap, Jani, and thanks again for sharing with us! <3 <3 <3

    • Jani says:

Thank you, Joanie, it’s fun to relive it myself. Hopefully I can prof better next time…a few typos there. 😉
Yes, a Minnie get together would be awesome. Let’s hope for a concert here one day! It just has to happen, right?!

  40. kimk says:

ha well I am so not too cool for school not where David is concerned.. nor anything for that matter come to think about it probs why I like rock and roll mainstream music etc
I like to party dance etc.. even if I am as old as dirt. always have though I like to move.

after Friday nights show in Layton David tweeted that he felt the love support even though his voice went out
after Mondays show he didn’t tweet about it but then again that doesn’t mean anything like folks up top said he must of felt the love even if Mex Archie didn’t feel it in the audience.. maybe the crowd was different then Friday night maybe it was older got me wasn’t there.

Good morning guys! HAPPY Sunday! ENJOY!

  47. TaterZen says:

Jani, thanks for your great recap! I enjoy all of them. Takes me right back to last weekend. Looking forward to your next installment.

The BYU Spectacular will have all ages attending and is being billed that way. It is Homecoming and this show is an annual tradition, with plenty of college students in the audience and lots of alumni (and their families) coming back to reconnect. No question that David Archuleta was a big draw (THE big draw) for people deciding to take in the show.

  48. jeaniut says:

I guess it sounded like I think something is wrong with screaming. I love to see people enjoying themselves. I was just trying to say, in my inadequate way, that some people are loving and enjoying David in different ways.

  49. sydnie says:

Urgh the 49ers are boring me so far, more excitement here at FOD lol.

I went to a couple of 1D stadium concerts & they were both ott loud & crazy but I think the ones in Japan were deathly quiet and some directioners mentioned they could a pin drop lol & those were crowds of 50000 plus so you never know – diff venue/audience diff vibes – not all fans show their enthusiasm the same way.

  50. Lizardj says:

Kalei! I was wondering if I could get the information about the motel in st George that was giving the group discount? I mistakenly misplaced the email you sent. Thanks!!

  51. sydnie says:

    http://news.byu.edu/archive15-jul-spectacular2015.aspx

Lol Bf’s asking what’s up with David & since he missed the Layton concert would love to go to the next David event with me! Guess he’s noticing that I’m checking on FOD updates hee.
That’d be the BYU event i believe, we should be able to fit in the Friday show but just checked site no more good seats left boohoo.

    • sydnie says:

The best seats are in sec 124? Don’t even see it on the map what even!

      • sydnie says:

        ‘Seating Chart’
Just checked flights/hotel also, seems like I’m spending more time at hotels than my own house lately lol.

    • Ali says:

The only seating left for Friday night is bench seating on the upper level. Section 124 would be the farthest to the side that they are selling for this show. It is probably a side view of the stage.

If you want better seats, you might try for the Thursday show. Or maybe someone who bought tickets for Friday is looking to sell theirs?

  52. sydnie says:

Thank you Ali and Martha for the suggestions!
We wanted to see Bryce Canyon but ran out of time last weekend, for sure we’ll be able to visit this time! Didn’t think I’d be back so soon bwahaha. 😀
Runs to try to score better seats! Not sure how many songs David will be singing but always wanted to visit BYU anyway – my most favorite quarterback ever Steve Young’s Alma Mater! 😀
