Zero Gravity Fan Cover

My little cousins, Zack and Ellison (7 and 5), are big David Archuleta fans! They listen to his music all the time now. The 7 year old got an iPod for Christmas. I bought David’s music for him to have on his iPod since he always liked listening to it at my house. They have both been jamming to David’s music quite a bit since then! Ha Ha. I decided to post a video on YouTube of them singing their favorite song, Zero Gravity! It is just a clip but I figured that all of you would enjoy it. If you would like to leave a comment on YouTube, I’ll let them read them a few days from now. Thanks!

Hope for Haiti Virtual Cupcakes; David Gives Mini-Concert to be Posted on MTV

As per Becky’s post last night:

Quick backstory: Jim Cantiello tweeted tonight from backstage at MTV after the Hope for Haiti Now telethon. MTV producers met up with David Archuleta, who gave an impromptu mini-concert for the camera backstage. This video will be posted on Monday to MTV.com.

Jim is such a good sport and kind fanboy to David fans for keeping us up-to-date and having fun with us, that a mini “Cupcakes for Jim” campaign began via Twitter! But TOFan from Snowangelz had a great idea. Why not send Jim a picture of a cupcake and donate the money raised to Haitian relief? PERFECT! MomJulee quickly organized how to donate and here we are.

Simply put, if you would love to donate for Haitian relief in Jim Cantiello’s and David Archuleta’s name in the form of a virtual cupcake (you can Twitpic him a picture of a cupcake), please donate via the CrushMS PayPal account! The email for that PayPal is CrushMS@gmail.com. The fantastic thing about PayPal is that you can donate $2.50 (the cost of a fancy-schmancy cupcake at a chi-chi cupcake shop ) or $250 quickly and easily.

Miraculously, a child was pulled from the rubble alive 10 days after the earthquake.  The children of Haiti are in dire straits; many children have become orphans; many are in desperate need of food, water, medicine, formula.  Prayer.

David has the most amazing and GOOFY fans.  This little impromptu project is yet another example of people who care about David trying to emulate his morals and work ethic in whatever way they can.  Good times…

David and many other celebs took calls from generous donors tonight during the Hope for Haiti telethon.  A few more pictures:

As most everyone IN THE ENTIRE WORLD with a radio, television, internet connection or cellular phone knows, tonight is the Hope for Haiti telethon.  Please see Jenny’s post below for US television channels.  I have it under good authority (coughAnniefromArchuletaFansGermanycough) that it will be broadcast on MTV Germany and CNN International, so international fans check your local listings for those channels as well.

A brief rundown of stations airing the show and where you can find it online:

ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, CMT, PBS, TNT, Showtime, Comedy Central, Bravo, E! At this time, there is no confirmation that David will be performing (although they’d be crazy to pass him up).  He will however be taking the time to answer phones and take donations for the organization.

There’s lots of internet/press buzz about tonight’s show.  It seems a little unseemly to be excited about seeing David’s name everywhere, but I assure you it comes from pride and not some icky PR place.
