Love this new tab Jenny & Becky! Being in the NW doesn’t give me much of a chance to see David live…he seems to be sticking pretty much to the East coast with a few exceptions in California. Can’t say I blame him…not much ever goes on up here. (listen to me whine…lol!) At least with all the info you’ll be posting here, I’ll be able to see him on TV.

#63/Joy – This is what I got from IDF:
Me and my friend were listening to KISS 106.1 in Seattle this morning and Jackie & Bender [morning DJ's] played Crush, and then they said “A week from Tuesday, David Archuleta will be in the studio with us to chat about his new album, and more! Don’t forget to listen!”
They never said what time, but the morning show is from 6-10am Pacific Time. grin.gif
Thanks for this feature to our website. When it says Jingle Ball – Sacramento does that mean he will be in Sacramento or will it be a telephone interview? I live very close to Sacramento so would love to go if he is actually going to be there. DUH!
#63 Gengen: “In the studio”???? Surely they don’t mean that David’s going to be in Seattle? I don’t ever go downtown Seattle..I usally avoid it like the plague..but if David is going to be in town…gosh..what I wouldn’t give to just get a glimpse of him in person.

YES!!! Can’t wait!!! He will be performing along with Jesse McCartney, Katy Perry, Shontelle and Boys Like Girls. Check out 107.9’s website for details, just Google it 107.9 FM ‘The End’ Sacramento. Tickets go on sale Saturday. My girls and I will be there ‘with bells on’!!!!

This morning I called NBC – Jay Leno Tonight Show. The guy I talked to said that he didn’t have a confirmation yet that David would be taping this show on 11/7. I told him I wanted to come up to watch the taping and he told me to call back next week for November schedule…so I’ll let you guys know what I find out. If someone else finds out when the taping is confirmed…please post it for everyone. Have a great day!

#93 not sure but I’m thinking it means these Radio Jingle Balls Etc. There are two that have David as one of the entertainers and the one in NY is not confirmed yet.
I am buying tickets for the Atlanta Jingle Jam show on December 17. I am a Platinum Archie and my good friend is going with me. We are the same age. Can you tell me if there will be an opportunity to get autographs from David before or after the show. How do you get an after show pass if they are available. I have watched David since the beginning and am so excited to see what is happening for him. As he mentioned recently, age has no boundaries when it comes to enjoying good music.

I did see it on the end, 107.9 and will be purchasing my ticket Saturday after 10am…wish there were someone to go with, but when it comes to David, seems like I find the courage that I never had before to go for it and enjoy the adventure into the unknown. This will be my first concert like this except for the idol concerts in Sacramento and Tulsa. I am so excited and hope I can get good seats. I wonder if there will be any backstage passes? I am wondering why he won’t be on Ellen. I understand she isn’t too fond of him because of his religion or something like that. On the American Idol Cheesy website they have David Cook’s schedule on their site. No dates but appearances. Funny how they love to pimp him so much. These appearances will be great. I’ll be going to Jingle ball in Sacramento. I’m going to purchase my tickets tomorrow since I’m a E-Club member. They will be selling them at 10am tomorrow! I’ll be at work and I work for the state tax board and they block all sites like that on my computer so one of my friends is bringing her laptop! She has one of those portable internet cards. Isn’t she nice! I was ready to miss work cuz of David! I would of if she didn’t offer her lap top!
My whole family is going! My hubby, my TEENAGE son (can u believe it! he wants to hang with us, he likes David too!) and of course myself. The only thing my son asks of me is to not scream (haha)
I promise I wouldn’t (had my fingers cross behind my back!) This will be the first time I get to see David. it’s hard to win backstage passes. Dang phones are so busy!! I’ve never been lucky. Wait I take that back! David is coming to Sacramento again! I’m the luckiest woman in world!
105. Ellen is scared of David. He represents everything that is good. Some people don’t like to face that and unfortunately she is one of the “hollywood crowd”. Plenty of other opportunities. She’s not the only tuna in town. Her loss. No need to even think about her , she’s meaningless.

I ordered my tickets!!! Woot!!! I’m on the main floor!! I was freaking at work because I was using my friends laptop and I couldn’t find the link from the radio station for the e-club members. So I called the dj (haha) He said they sent an email and from there you order. Okay, I havn’t type in my password for my e-mail over a year cuz it does it automatic. So now I’m freaking out! it’s already 10:45! So I did my secret code and it didn’t accept it! okay, I’m having a meltdown at work! My friend says calm down, lets go on the live chat. So I send my question in. Takes about 5 minutes. Meanwhile I’m calling my daughter asking if she remembers my password. She said no. so I hung up then the operator comes on-line and he resets my password and I get in. But wait! At the same time my daughter was calling and change the password again so it kicked me out! (I didn’t know she did that) I’m ready to start crying! I WANT FLOOR SEATS!! So my phone is ringing off the hook! The other sups yells at me to ANSWER the PHONE! It might be your daughter! So of course it was! She told me what she did and I said “I wonder why”! So she gives me the password and finally I get in and see the link (okay now my boss comes around and says, what are you guys doing? ) YIKES! I said I was trying to buy Tickets to the concerts. He said the one with Archuleta? I told him if I can’t get in that I was going home to order them. He said calm down! (haha, he knows I have ODD, by the way, he’s a cutie pie) Ok, he leaves me alone (he knows better) So I finally get in Ticketmaster and darn, you have to fill out all this info and they don’t give you enough time!! So I lose my tickets 2 times!! First I’m in row m, then row u, then I start to panick! I see my friend, she’s a fast typist! So I finally got them and I ended getting Row Y, on the floor seats 2,3,4! Well at leastt I got on the floor!! Whew! I’m going to wear heels so I can see! But that’s my story. I almost had a nervous breakdown. I got really dizzy after so I had to sit at my desk with my head down and my friend brought me some water. Haha..I’m still shaking

This is a great website –I have only gone to fanblast before this but my ODD has made me search for more. Thanks for all this information. I am hoping he comes to Phoenix/Glendale and have been calling radio stations faithfully for 2 months. I am hoping next time he comes that I can actually meet him. Hey Jenny and Becky, House Party just announced that David will be on November 1st!!! Someone called into request Crush and he told her and she was surprised. She said but he just came out not that long ago and the DJ said yeah but not in the House. He said he will be in the Studio!!!! Mark your calendars. For sure put this the calendar!!!!

Thanks Jenny and Becky for all you do. Just want to point out a minor correction needed… The Jackie and Bender Morning Show interview for Tuesday should say 106.1 KISS FM, not 106.7. 106.7 is also a KISS FM station but it’s in Rochester, NY.
Someone on IDF just said her radio station in Cleveland says he will be there this Thursday in-studio. Tickets were given away this morning.
Is anyone going to try to meet David at the Mix studios on Wednesday? Message me via MySpace if you’re going.

I just found your website…. so since my daugher is a Murray High cheerleader and in the choir and my other daughter goes to school with David’s brother, I frequently end up in the same place as him. He was just at the Murray High choir concert last week…. was a super nice thing for him to come and see all his old friends. He just walked the halls and loving old familiar places. It was great except my three year old practically ran into him in the dark when he slipped into the performance at the start of the show …LOL

I was just on David’s MySpace and there was a post from an Atlanta station. Don’t know if it’s about the December Jingle concert or something else. Here’s what was posted several hours ago:
“Attention Atlanta Fans: The Bert Show on 99.7 FM wants to get you up close and personal with David. Tune in for all the details tomorrow morning at 7:00 am.”

I noticed that the date of the Jingle Jam on 12/17 in Atlanta is on the calendar but it’s not highlighted. Is there a reason for that? And is anyone planning to attend that concert? And is

I know we’ve seen topics already about this, but apparently the message still is not getting through, so you’ll have to bear with me.
A friend of mine went to meet David at the San Diego radio station on Monday and she and a few other David fans had the opportunity to talk for quite awhile with the station’s program director and DJ and the PD told her how annoying some of David’s fans are being. He told them that they see IP addresses, area codes on caller ID, etc., and they are getting a lot of requests from outside the local market.
He also said that he talks to other stations around the country almost daily and they are all saying the same thing. He strongly urged my friend and the other fans to get the word out that David’s fans are basically blowing it for David. He specifically mentioned that he thinks David is a nice kid but if this continues, he (and apparently these other stations) will get to the point that they won’t want to play him at all. They said they’ve done that to other artists and so it’s not something to be taken lightly.
Now, I know we’ve all been warned about this before and most of us here try to be careful, but it needs to be repeated and the word needs to spread to all corners of the David fandom. So, if you are members at other boards, would you please be so kind as to spread the word as much as possible that all requests must stay local and if you are requesting, please don’t harrass the stations. The last thing we need is to be responsible for hurting David’s career.
Okay, so now that’s out of the way, my friend also added that the PD told the group of David fans that there’s a good reason why we’re not hearing ‘Crush’ in the So. California market yet and it’s because of Jive. He basically told them that David’s label is very successful at what they do and they know what markets to release to at certain points in time. So, in a nutshell, we now we even have station PDs telling us to “trust Jive.”
So David is going to be on Open House Party on my Birthday! Woo! The thing is, I won’t get to hear him, because apparently my local radio station only airs the Open House that is on Sunday, and he will be on a Saturday
. That’s going to be a sad birthday.

I just contacted the Bonnie Hunt show requesting tickets for the show on which David is scheduled to appear. I learned that the show will actually be taped on Monday, 11/17 (aired on 11/18). Tickets aren’t even available yet for Monday, 11/17, on their web site. But, I called the contact number (310/845-2512) and spoke to Marcus. I now have a ticket!
The Bonnie Hunt show is taped in Culver City, CA (near Los Angeles). Audience members need to be there by 2:00 pm. The show will be taped at 4:00 pm. I asked if David will be performing and was told “yes”. I asked who else would be appearing that day and was told that there was another celebrity who has not yet been confirmed.

I believe David is definitely going to be at Z100’s Jingle Ball because I heard the short preview clips of who’s performing and I recognized David’s voice! It’s the part in Crush where he says “real or just another crush”. In the clip, I heard his voice saying “real”, haha. They’re officially announcing the performers on November 7th, though.

Hey Gengen…you are always a wealth of information. For the VH1 post, David is one of 10 best in November, I’m not sure they are in any order. They had more positive things to say about David and were somewhat reserved about Cook.

The concert scheduled for 02/24 – Virginia Beach, VA – Sandler PAC (seated)
even though that says “seated” Are the seats assigned or is that also first come first served???
The concert hall here looks beautiful & I would fly there if the seats were assigned.
Does anyone know?……… We have a small concert hall in our area with seats,
but if you buy a ticket to an event there it is not assigned seats……..
you have to get there EARLY in order to get good seats…………

Virginia Beach Show – February 24th
I just got off the phone with the ticket manager at the Sandler Center of the Performing Arts. Here’s what I have so far:
-David is confirmed to appear on 2/24
-Prices of tickets and the date tickets will go on sale has not yet been confirmed
-There will be an offical release of information within the next couple of days.
-Tickets will go on sale AROUND Friday 1/30. I’ll let you know as soon as I get the word. She said there is another performer with tickets going on sale that day so she wants David’s sale date to either be the day before or day after to prevent an overload on their site (smart lady – she has no idea)
- Tickets will be sold on line through their website or through the toll free number

The venue is 1,300 seats, “intimate orchestra style seating” (100 feet from the stage to the last row) All seats are good, but the balcony isn’t as close, obviously, as the rest of the seating and is higher up. Orchestra pit seats start lower than stage level.

Airport information for the Virginia Beach and Richmond, Virginia shows:
Norfolk International Airport (this is the airport closest to Virginia Beach. If you are attending both concerts, you may want to fly into Norfolk rather than Richmond. We are surrounded by water in this area, using tunnels to get from the the peninsula (Newport News/Hampton/Yorktown/Williamsburg) and Richmond (North) to the South Side (Virginia Beach and Norfolk). Traffic gets very congested during rush hour and you don’t want to be stuck on the wrong side of the tunnel trying to get to a show. This has happened to me more times than I can count.
There are two other airports:
Richmond International Airport
Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport (this one’s in-between Norfolk and Richmond)
These two may be fine if flying in early for the VA Beach show. I will be happy to do whatever I can in picking people up at airports, if possible, but I won’t be going up to Richmond before the VA Beach show (fear of missing the show). I can take folks back to Norfolk after the Richmond show, though, if you need a ride. (provided I get tickets, of course). Contact me through Jenny or Becky and they can forward e-mails to me.

I have 2 excellent seats to David’s Virginia Beach concert on Tuesday, Feb. 24 and I’m so excited to see him again!!! But there is a chance our grandson may decide to be born earlier than his due date of Thursday, March 5. I’d sure love to give these excellent seats to FANS of DAVID if we cannot attend the show.
