I just got back from the Sac JB too! Looks like you’re all covered with vids, but I’m uploading mine as well.
Just wanted to share this little thing that maybe most people missed? David wrote a text message for the fans up on the big screen. He was the ONLY artist who did it last night. (sorry for the thick black wire running down. I couldn’t get around it). Is this guy the sweetest, or what??

WOW!!! Second I want to extend a huge thank you to the wonderful ladies who organized an amazing pre concert meeting. I had a wonderful time seeing many of the people I met in Tulsa and there were some blessed surprises as well (people I didn’t expect to see, you know who you are, at least you should, anyway) and met many new fans of David. Thanks Kalei and all you beautiful ladies who worked with her to organize a really, really, really fun time! To be honest seeing all of the people, David and FOD have, brought together was the most pleasant part of the whole experience and the the energy in the arena was high!!!!
But oh the anticipation of waiting for David to come onto the stage, unbelievable, it is so hard to contain oneself in their seat (oh I was standing to be sure and I didn’t have one of the coveted floor, center stage, second row seats like some who I won’t mention) but from where I was sitting David was energetic, pumped up, and ready to sing for us. And what a blessing! Because it was totally unexpeced! He sang my favorite song first, “Works For Me” and it was beautiful to hear him sing it live. I only wish I could have been closer but the videos others are kind enough to take and share really makes up for not being right up close. *Note to self, next time I am buying tickets to see David PURCHASE first row, center stage at any cost. Also, I noticed that David did the most interaction with the fans, continuing to remind us how much he appreciates us, and he was the only performer to take time to sing to the winner of the ‘on stage seat’ (twice) what a lucky girl (and her 3 friends)!!!! But really David is such a thoughtful young man, always considering others, I love him and I am not ashamed to say it.
The other songs David sang were all perfection just like him, and Jeff popped his head out for a minute, and since he was so close I could not resist walking down the 4 steps to shake his hand and say hi! I asked him to tell David Hi for me and that there were nearly 40 of us in the arena from FOD to see David perform. I enjoyed the concert but for my next experience I am holding out for a quieter, more intimate, concert with David at one of his solo concerts. I want to hear him sing more songs and without other performers taking up his precious time lol Does anyone else agree? I am sorry but the others are just noise in my ears compared to David, and the band could be just a tad softer, in my opinion, because I want to hear all of David’s instrument over the others.

I just got thru watching the videos from last night. First of all I am very gratefull to all the fans that take these vids and share them with all of us you are not lucky enough to go to any of the JB. Secondly I must say David out did himself last night. WOW! There is really no comparison between that concert and the AI ones. The vocals have been there from the begining, that’s what makes him great, but his stage presence was soo great at the JB. He was able to sing what he wanted, (love Works for Me) wear what he wanted (great choice) and work the stage and audience the way he wanted! Just incredible! Again thanks to all that took and shared video!

just finished watching all the vids from last night, and am sitting here weeping. David during YC when you stopped singing after you power nailed that note after the bridge and smiled at the audience, for me, time just stood still. It was one of the most powerful moments in concert performance history, for me, anyway. and I’ve seen tons of them. Do you finally “get” how absolutely over the moon we are for you? I think so. and pray that you do. God Bless you David.

Funny Story! Some of you might remember earlier in the week that I gave my CD to a client. Well, she called me today to thank me for it. She said she LOVED it. and continued to say how much she loves him. She was already a fan, but had not bought his CD because she is always leary of buying a full CD and not liking all the songs. Well, I asked her which was her favorite. She said she loves all of them but said “I really like that song Crush” She had not heard it on the radio, didn’t know it was his first siingle. WHAT? How is that? I of course explained all of that to her. Then told her about ALTNOY! I also went into detail about which ones David wrote.
#49 Candy: That is what I said earlier today. It looked like he was about to cry when the song ended. You can see his eyes are watery. You can tell on his face that he was holding back tears.

Hi Guys!! I’m still reeling from yesterday!! I just can’t get over how fabulous David was!! You all warned me too! Once I hear him live, I want more!! I agree with Linda, all the other artists are just noise. David is WAY ABOVE them!! No comparison!!I already told my hubby we are going to see him at his solo concert and he said HECK yea!!! Like Linda, I don’t care what it cost, I’m up there in the front rows!I was way too far back. I managed to record Touch My Hands and download it asap! I knew you guys were waiting for something!! We actually left after Katy cuz I told my hubby, I can’t stay and hear any one else. All I wanted was to see and hear David!! My poor hubby ears still hurt. There were so many David fans there! I sometimes think back to the late Johnnie Ray. Don’t know if you and Wendy are old enough to remember him, but he had a very emotional style of singing, many times breaking out in tears at the end of a song. I don’t remember much about him except that and one of his greatest hits was Cry.

I noticed he looked a little teary-eyed. Can’t wait to go home and watch again! He is such a special person – radiates goodness and light – full of emotion when he sings – connects with people so well – what a gem!
I also met some new archie fans, there mom was so funny!! They were both about 10 and 11. They said they met David when AI tour was here and started to cry when he talked to them! haha I took a pic of one of them. She designed it herself. She was so pretty too! She said when David was performing on the AI tour, he looked right at them and wave and they both started to cry and they were showing them on the Jumbo Tron!! She also told me that they gave David a 10 minute standing ovation last time!!

My mom who was very much a Elvis fanatic, said for the first time the other day that she completely understands why PP was the way she was the other day, she thought it was sweet..My mom still needs to witness David live, I can’t wait for his solo tour to me able to take her, great bonding experience for both of us, it’s because of David that my mom and I have become closer..David forever has changed my outlook on relationships and life in general:)

I want to share this.
My sister in law stoped by few days ago she said she loved all the songs on David’s album except TMH and another song she couln’t remember the name of the song. She was babysitting the day I went to The Virgin Megastore , so I got her a David’s CD as a gift. She used to give me “rolling eyes” ..haha…so it was so good to hear that she loved his album. Her favorite was “Barriers” and she made a video for NYPD community with barriers on the background music. I wish I could share it with you guys but she said it should not be on public.:( she’s pretty good at video editing kind of things.
Today, my husband’s singing some parts of “Barriers” so I said are you making fun of Archie? and he said No!! I really love this song. it’s been stuck in my head it’s so catchy! it might going into my ipod! I was shocked beause even though he ’s been so supportive my ODD, he never admitted that he liked David’s music, he thought it was too poppy.
I can’t say they’re one of us yet but I’m so happy that they appreciate David’s music at least.

#87/Suttygal, it was organized by KHOP 95.1, a radio station in Modesto. They selected the lucky 20 winners to meet David in a secret location from eclub members. It was sponsored by Del Taco. and was announced on the radio station for a least 3 days, I think.

I do agree with you, I was on FANBLAST and note the same thing about David’s band (e.g. drummer) could be a little softer. David is having to sing over the drums, what is that drummer thinking!!
