Your season seems to be really good at keeping in touch, maybe even more so than other seasons. What is it about that year?
I don’t know. I think that’s an experience that you will hold for the rest of your life that nobody else will ever understand: to be under the microscope of not only America, but the world. And I think as someone from another country, it was a little bit more real to me as to how many people were looking at us in that one moment when the light goes on the camera. I don’t think you’ll ever experience something like that with other people around you, so it’s definitely a bonding experience and I will never lose touch with them. Oddly enough, Brooke White and I became best friends. We couldn’t be more different, but we found something in common, we’ve stuck together as friends and meet for lunch all the time. I just went to see Dave [Cook] in concert in Palm Springs, I got up and sang “Barracuda” with him, it was great. David Archuleta came to our show in Utah and met the whole band — cute as a button! Jason Castro seems to be following our tour. Every night, I go to a venue and the next night will be Jason Castro. Orlando I missed him by a day; Atlanta a day, San Diego… Like, stop following me!

Hello Everyone! I like how people in S7 are still close for the most part, but, I wish Carly wouldnt talk about seeing David then saying cute as a button. David is 19, a man & I dont know any 19 year old that would like that description. I’m getting a little fed up with people talking about him that way. He’s sweet & kind & thoughtful, but he’s not a little kid, he’s an adult & I wish people would treat him as such, especially his “friends”. I’m sorry to rant about this. Well, no I’m not, I guess lol. Its all about respect & David deserves it.
hi jana and candyyy – i’m eating leftovers from our mother’s day celebration… we had a bbq in the backyard, with tents set up all around the yard to stay cool, and enjoyed ourselves with an old fashioned southern bbq… been snacking on short ribs and potato sald all evening, lol… gonna have to add an extra hour of exercise to my routine to work all this off

Hey GG! Went to Famous Dave’s for some BBQ yesterday with 2 of my brothers, my mom & dad & my 100 Year old grandma. We were a mess, using plenty of the roll of paper towels they provide in the center of the table,lol. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, beans, corn on the cob, baked potatoes(loaded of course,lol) & a rootbeer float, Yummmm. That BBQ sauce was all over the place. They even have a sink in the dining room where you can wash up if needed,lol.

19/ sounds like my kind of place beth – i love good bbq, and that’s what my mom and my aunt said they wanted – a bbq with a yard full of the family, friends, and other folks invited to just enjoy the day… our pastor came and enjoyed an hour with us, then they had to go to another outdoor bbq another church family were throwing, lol… yesterday was so nice, i bet there were lots of outdoor cook outs and bbq’s… my body is a little achy from all the prep work and cooking and stuff, but it’s worth it
Beth, I wish we had a Famous Daves here. Sounds delicious. We do have a place called Clems, best BBQ ribs and chicken around these parts. Nothing fancy, just amazing food.

Candy, It was nice. We had a great meal, the service was fantastic. No one had to cook & us kids paid for everyone. Surprised my mom & dad with that one. Its so fun to make them happy. Then we all went our separate ways, but we all were doing the same thing, watching the MN Twins game at our respective houses just chillin’ the rest of the day. It was really nice. Well, my very dear friend Susan Montgomery’s son Michael is a chef/teacher at the Colorado Culinary School and has some videos on Utube. One deals with the proper way to roast a chicken. I thought roasting a chicken was simple, and it is but proper prep is important. I followed his instructions from the video and discovered it really does make a difference. I was amazed.

I sure hope David gets some good coverage and promo for this next single and album. After all, he’s practically been in hiding since his CFTH tour ended back in December. Short of a few appearances here and there, he’s been pretty much out of sight. I am so disappointed that his management team would allow this to happen so I am hoping they will make up for it and he hasn’t lost too much traction with non ODD folks out there.

I know there seems to be a lot of haters of Charice out there — I guess I don’t know what it’s really about.
I watched an old video of hers where she seemed really sincere and was crying talking about some jealous people.
Maybe she is different now. But I watched most of the videos and could actually see why David said

— all I know is when David one day posted one of her songs of the day he referred to her as “person” of the day as well. When he said he was inspired by her story on Oprah, I wanted to look up her story. So I found those videos on youtube. All I know is it gave me a different perspective and more insight on her and that’s what I liked about it. I could see David being touched by her story.
