KOST-FM in Los Angeles not only interviewed David Archuleta on the radio this morning, they also played Pat-a-Pan (WOOOOOT) and another tune from Christmas from the Heart!!
LA and Southern California fans were MORE than happy. Elated might be a good SAT word to describe it.

Donation form for Westbury Fans…
Fans who are going to the final stop of the Christmas from the Heart Tour in Westbury, NY on Sunday, December 20 have been asked by tour manager Ray Amico and the staff at I Love All Access to not bring gifts to David. There isn’t room on the bus because there will be no bus. It will be excused at that show.
Some of you have asked for a form to record donations that you make in David’s name in lieu of a physical gift. According to Ray, David would be pleased and honored if you were to donate to a charity and this form is a way to share that gift with David. It was created some time ago and has been uploaded and shared before.

During Feliz Navidad, David jumped right over the blocked staircase and took off running down the aisle, security had to go rescue him from an overzealous teen girl. Pam: Yeah, it looks like those numbers are maybe from Nielsen SoundScan. Which is where Billboard gets their album ranking information from. Google is my friend, lol. I couldn’t access the SoundScan numbers myself though. Looks like you need a paid acct for that. Or maybe you can get to them for free elsewhere, I’m not sure.
36/Pam05-I dont think anyone got the crowd surfing on film as the stairs were roped off, so he jumped over them and went flying…that had nothing to do with the VIP tweet. There was a rather rude, boisterous, disgruntled gentlemen that let a few choice words fly!! He let them fly from his mouth to Rays ears and right in front of David! Yikes!

VIP’s are HUGE at the shows now, and well not everyone is happy about that…we heard 160 in Balt. Some people are expecting something different, they are not people who are familiar with how it works. I can understand their confusion but not the mans mouth! Thats all it was about. A dad that wanted MUCH private time with David for his kids. Didnt happen, he wasnt a happy camper.

HiJoyf again, (answering question from last thread, had to go to work) Yes I had the time of my life at the Idaho concert. the temperatures were freezing but once we got into the venue the whole place was on fire. So much cheering from the crowds in anticipation of David coming out. His voice was spot on and my reluctant daughter turned to me and said “mom I have never heard anything like that before, she was in awe” So now I can give her the Christmas CD in her stocking and she’ll really appreciate it! I didn’t want it to end, I could have sat and listened to him all night.

How all of FOD ended up in the front row we will never understand, when we opened our envelopes and saw AA on everyones tickets we did some major squeeingggggg. We did thank the ticket fair Godmother! What a special treat that was…all of us together!!

I know what you mean about not wanting the concert to end. I went to 2 in a row and it still wasn’t enough. I think there’s something very special about this tour. Not only is David making new fans with his awesome voice and sweet personality, but there’s a spiritual aspect about these concerts that are touching people’s souls as well. David and hymns are just meant for each other.

Speaking of the VIP pics, is anyone else having trouble accessing the more recent ones? I can’t get anything more recent than KC to come up. I can see that there are supposed to be pics there for the ones since then, but I just get a red X. I’ve tried in Explorer and Firefox and I tried it on a different computer.

#74 Candy: It really is the best fringe benefit of being David’s fans, isn’t it? That special bond we all share. I met so many people from FOD in SLC. I hope that one day ALL of us can meet somewhere and go to a concert together.
Joyf-we said the same thing about the spiritual connection with this tour. If you dont feel something listening to those songs, your heart is a closed door. Those songs not only knock, they beg to be let into every heart! Looking at his face alone tells a story of what he feels, then when he sings, you just feel it, straight from his heart to yours!

Hi everyone…It is such fun to read how much fun you all had together in Baltimore. He is just getting more amazing with each tour. I would have loved to see the leap down the steps during Feliz Navidad. So glad he didn’t fall. He would have had lots of help getting up, though.
I have been trying to register for the Billboard concert for days now, and I can not figure out how to do it. I slide the button to yes and then I see name, email, and cell#, but it will only let me enter my cell#. I do not have text on my phone, but that shouldn’t matter. It will not let me enter my name or email. It doesn’t tell me that I need to download anything either. Did anyone else have issues like this?

112/MrsMary-I dont know what was his his water in Balt but he was on fire but in a different way, so self-assured, so confident on stage, SO SO SO playful, such a tease, flew right over the barrier and the steps into the audience. The security guard about had a heart attack. And the crowd went berserk!

117/Trudy-well it was better I guess, more people not so sure that part was better but set up sort of the same. No room big enough to hold everyone so they did it on the 2nd floor lobby area. Very distracting for David, he is trying to listen to what people are saying and people walking by wave or call his name…you know how he is…easily distracted. Five of us did a group picture.
Candy – that is so awesome! I can’t wait till someone gets a video up of FN so I can see him go into the crowd! I can definitely see what you’re talkig about in the videos, and I know they probably don’t even do him justice! Hands down, there is NOBODY that connects like our David! It’s just incredible!

WOW!!!! The concert in Baltimore was out of this world! It was almost like an out of body experience! lol. David is beyond amazing. One song seemed better than the next. During several of the Christmas songs you could have heard a pin drop in the theater. It was just incredible. I honestly wish that everyone could experince David singing these Christmas songs live. I don’t think I will ever hear anyone sing them more beautifuly than David sings them. During VIP he dang Touch My Hands and Mary Did You Know. I have heard dozens of artists sing MDYK over the years but NO ONE even comes close to David’s hauntingly beautiful version in my opinion. It was stunning! It was so wonderful getting to meet so many FOD friends for the first time like Kimk, GG, Marylee, Patti and her daughter Kristin, David from Texas, and so many other wonderful people. It adds so much to the entire experience. David is really blessed to have such warm and loving fans.
A special thank you to Mrs. Mary for making the adorable David Christmas badges for us to wear. We wore them proudly. You are a sweetheart!
Our lovely Stephanie arranged a great after party for 40 of us at the Cheesecake Factory. She is just a doll! She and Danielle are two of the most dedicated fans I have ever met. She got a lovely surprise from the management of the CCF that involved David. I will let her tell the story! It was such a surprise and so sweet.
Well I have one more concert to come on Friday in Stroudsburg. This Christmad tour has been a beautiful gift from David to his fans and I could never thank him enough for this amazing gift. I will cherish these special memories forever!!

I would like to second what ABMS said abut Stephanie, she went far above and beyond for all of us, from suggesting a great hotel with an AMAZING view of the harbor, to the after party at the CCF. The CCF rolled out the red carpet for us, well the surprised from David…she can tell you about that! Stephanie and Danielle are two of the most dedicated fans, they put so much love and hard work into supporting David. It is a true labor of love for them!

Hi everyone…just got in a little while ago. All I can say is WOW…this was our 4th time seeing David (inc. AI tour), and our first time doing VIP…it was the most incredible experience! When he sang MDYK, it was THE MOST incredible thing I have ever heard coming out of someone’s mouth! STUNNING!! Then the concert…omg, it was by a “comfortable mile” (as Simon would say) the best concert I have ever seen…and not just David’s. The Christmas songs were absolutely beautiful…it was truly a religious experience. He gave me chills! Didn’t know which songs would reduce me to tears…but last night it was FIelds of Gold…tears rolled down my cheeks on that one. OHN night was another memorable moment, as I held hands with GG. This was my daughter’s 19th bday present, and it was one we will both never forget!

Besides having front row seats with David and his mic stand in front of us, meeting new fans, and seeing old ones, made for a really fun time. The get together at the CCF was so much fun, and S&D did a great job with that. I really need to say that David has some pretty amazing fans, with big hearts. I could’ve never taken my daughter to this concert if it wasn’t for the generosity of Kimk, to offer to drive us, and graciously let us stay in her room. We’ll never be able to do VIP again, but I am fortunate I made the decision to do it for this one.

It is impossible for me to ever pick a favorite song from David but during this concert I have to say I was absolutely blown away by Ave Maria and OHN. It is incredible to watch David sing these two reverent songs. It is almost like he is in some other world when he sings these songs. I have never witnessed anything like this! He was absolutely stunning last night!! Truly beyond words!!

kimk – the show is amazing …David can sing the pop songs and everyone is hopping, then hits in the more meaningful songs like “the Riddle” & “POTC”….so heartfelt…then goes into our hearts & souls with the Christmas music — along with the “hotness” of songs in other languages & up tempo like Pat a Pan. David is so good at just putting the right songs together in a way that has us waiting with baited breath to see what the next song is. Like you said…and all that emtion thrown in *sigh*
Hey CandyWandy! Doing ok, I understand you went to some thing last night, some holiday occaision. I think a very nice man was going to sing & leap over stairs & such. I hope you liked it,lol. Actually, I had chicken yesterday. We had our company party yesterday at a local hotel. The chicken was very good. Odd though, I found a few multi-colored threads with it, reminded me of plaid. At first I though, OH MY HECK! But then I remembered Freud is in Florida for a mini vacation, thankgoodness,lol.
Hey Joanie! I fell here at home yesterday,lol. Carrying somethings, dropped a pillow & tripped over it,ha,ha. Fell on my left hand, bent the fingers on my right hand a little & landed on my knees too. My knees arent to happy with me right now. It was funny yesterday, at the company party I reached for something & noticed the inside of my left hand was really swollen, so I took my water glass(had ice in it), put it on my hand & it took the swelling way down. Of course, while the president of our company was drawing names for prizes, I let out one of my big sneezes & I could hear it echo throughout the dining room & he said “be sure to wash your hands”,lol. I was so embarrassed. Didnt win a prize either,lol.

Hey Candy, I saw a video of POTC from last night which included the speech he gave before singing it. I know he always means every word of what he says regarding that song & his charities, but he seemed really intence about it all. It about knocked me out of my chair(good thing I was wearing a seatbelt, thought it was prudent to install one given all of these incredible performances,lol). OHN too, Its just, I’m so glad for the Billboard concert tommorrow night, especially since our concert was cancelled.

I sat next to a woman and her young daughter at the Montclair concert. She had talked to her husband on her cell phone to see if he would take her to another concert (and this was before the concert even started). Then she said…I don’t know why but I just love going to David’s concerts. And I said…”so what’s wrong with that? David’s concerts are the most FUN ever!” She said “I know” and then I said, “and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to go to more than one of David’s concerts!” Then we proceeded to scream, jump, and sigh and just look at each other every time David sang a song. David’s fan just immediately bond with each other — we were like oh my gosh…that was amazing…just oh oh oh….I’m shaking!

joanie – yes…I wasn’t going to do BAB…until a girl I met this past summer at a David concert called me and asked if I wanted to go…well that was all I needed! Of course I couldn’t let her walk around NYC by herself. I’ll go to some pretty crazy limits to see David and it’s for his charity so wanted to do it. And yes, this tour is definitely a treat for me.

A funny thing at the very end of the concert…David did NOT want to leave the stage, he kept turning around waving and smiling, then he would hesitate and stop again…it was like he didnt want to leave…everyone noticed it! I think He truly felt the love and wanted to savor it for another moment. What a sweetheart!

David really does attract the nicest and most genuine people. It was so special to hqve everyone i our hometown. For those of you owning a certain type of cell phone that starts with the letter “B” and ends with the word “berry,” it turns out you can vote using your phone on the M-tone poll (it probably also works on the apple of my eye phone). I’m waiting for more details from someone I’m in email contact with, such as how often you can vote, does it work on other polls, etc. I don’t own either phone myself, so I don’t know the answer to these questions just yet. I’m convinced TH fans are using these devices to vote, first communicating with one another via Twitter and then voting in droves to take the lead so quickly.

Am about ready to adopt my cat out to the nearest farmer though. He’s been acting funny for the last couple of days..meowing all night long and acting all weird. Well…I found out why today. He finally caught the “huge” mouse he’s been frettin’ about and just dumped him on my kitchen floor today. Thank God for having sons instead of skittish daughters. Corey just grabbed a couple of paper towels, picked it up and deposited it outside. Dang cat just loves to play with birds, mice and snakes. He’s smart enough to stay away from our neighbors roosters, chickens, geese, peacocks and ducks though. And the squirrels just chatter at him taunting him to just try and catch them.
Joyf if Ray is with him that may mean he is taping or doing something musically I think too… and Benton tweeting that made me think hmm…

I was just showing my daughter all my David stuff today. She made me a tote bag with David’s picture on it..that’s where I keep everything. Anyway…I ran across an autograph that I had forgotten I had from David. After the Boise concert, we were able to see David briefly but because I wasn’t expecting it, all I had for him to sign was a crumpled up “will call” ticket voucher that I had used all night to fan a little girl in front of me who was suffering from heat stroke. When I pulled that out of the envelope in the bag, all those wonderful memories of Boise came flooding back. So I now have 4 autographs..2 of them personalized. But my favorite is from the first time I met him in Seattle because it’s his picture and it he wrote my name on it. I think that M&G will always be my favorite because it was the first.

JoyF: It was a really good M&G in IL. Plenty of time to mingle, good food, good friends, great sound check. He was chatty and goofy. We weren’t rushed when we got to see him. Not like AC.
My husband just shook his head and laughed when I showed him the mail I got from David. He said-you’re crazy, you know that right? But he makes me so happy. And I’ve met so many nice people. And the VIP and recent concerts were my Christmas present. I really don’t want anything else.
