Last week I checked out Walmart’s Christmas music display…David was on the top row, first position on left..however since the top row was like a half circle, that first spot made it difficult to see the cd..so I did what any good fan would do, and put one cd right in the middle of that row, and another one in the middle of the display a few rows down!

SLC VIP tix for someone special
Snarkies is gifting a VIP tix to the first show in SLC on 11/24. We need your help in finding that person. They must have their own transportation to SLC, provide their own lodging and be at least 18 or able to make arrangements with someone attending the VIP to chaperone them.
We would really love this VIP to go to someone who loves David, who supports David, and is inspired by David. Someone who has maybe never met him before, or has only said ‘hey’ in passing. Someone who without a VIP gift, they would not be able to meet David, or maybe not even attend the concert. If you know someone who fits these categories, let us know! Shoot us an e-mail! Tell us a little bit about the person you are nominating. Why do they deserve it? What makes their love for David so big?
All eligible names will be placed in a hat and one name will be drawn at random. Plz include contact info for the the person you are suggesting.

Hello Everyone! I think David would most certainly have a band with him on the Christmas tour. Its sad we wont see Mike there, but maybe David will be playing some guitar this time around & they will have someone standing in for Mike? Hasnt it also been mentioned that while Ann Arbor will be the only full orchestra, some of the other venues will have some strings added. Should be interesting.

108/Hi MrsMary- Last night I popped on twitter to respond to a David tweet and saw that Jana and Becca had changed their avi’s to Miley and Demi. I was ROTF! They are too funny! So happy Jana is now in the BTBD Club!
Joanie, Yes, it is like the flu but a little different. It hits your chest immediately and the cough, headache, muscle aches, everything except the stomach sickness other than loss of appetite. The appetite is coming back but the chest conjestion is hanging on.
Russ, I undertand. The MN Gophers lost to Illinois 35 to 32. They blocked a punt with 3:05 to play to get it to 35 to 32, tried an onside kick, but it went out of bounds, just out of the reach of one of our guys. Darn the luck. Its a bit frustrating, but it sure is fun to watch a game on tv & see our team playing at their new outdoor stadium, it looks great on tv. Lots more fun than when they played at the metrodome. The Twins play at their new outdoor stadium next April, cant wait.

RJ~Nope..just a long recovery..he has trashed his feet over the years from tennis basically. Problems w/his arches etc..has to have the other one done on December 21st, but it isn’t as severe. He couldn’t have them both done at once for obvious reasons..so we timed them far enough apart so I could go to Utah! He will have a month to heal up before the second surgery..It is an ordeal..

Hey hey!! Looks like it’s just me but I wanted to check in and say Happy Saturday/Sunday to FOD!!
My shopping trip went well today — I’m ready for SLC now! I just hope it’s not TOO cold. Concert in the winter are kind of a pain. You can’t dress too warm because you’ll be *dying* during the show but if you dress too cool then you freeze to death waiting for concert time.
Oh, life is hard.
AND AND AND on the way home from my shopping this evening, I ran over a deer! Someone else had hit it before me, I guess, and it was just laying there in the road (it was already dead, poor thing!). It was dark and I didn’t even see it until I was right up on it and it was too late to swerve. So I just held on tight and drive over it. About gave me a heart attack.
I’ll have my dad check the car over tomorrow to make sure but it made it the rest of the way home fine.
So kind of a strange day for me. I’m actually ready for Monday — because that will put me that much closer to time for the concert.
One track mind…
Anyway. It’s been a long day for me — 9 hours of shopping and driving! So I’m gonna head to bed.

I am disapppointed to hear Mike is not going on tour but I do hope Kendra is going. Since the tour will have his Christmas songs with lots of strings in some of the songs, maybe Kendra will round up a few of her peers and lead the band- orchestra wth round. She certainly is talented and strings is her thing. Anyway, long term, I’d like to see David get a permanent band to stick with him on his tours. He dosen’t seem to be letting up on touring (at least I hope not, altho I feel bad is dosen’t get to be home too much), so I think he needs to have permanent band members. Kendra for one would be great but don’t know if she’ll stick. Hope so. She takes such good care of David while they’re on the road.

SLC VIP tix for someone special
Snarkies is gifting a VIP tix to the first show in SLC on 11/24. We need your help in finding that person. They must have their own transportation to SLC, provide their own lodging and be at least 18 or able to make arrangements with someone attending the VIP to chaperone them.
We would really love this VIP to go to someone who loves David, who supports David, and is inspired by David. Someone who has maybe never met him before, or has only said ‘hey’ in passing. Someone who without a VIP gift, they would not be able to meet David, or maybe not even attend the concert. If you know someone who fits these categories, let us know! Shoot us an e-mail! Tell us a little bit about the person you are nominating. Why do they deserve it? What makes their love for David so big?

heads up —–> sunday is the cutoff day, each week, for sales to be reported to soundscan for that reporting week… these numbers publish on tuesday/wednesday… keep an eye out, if you’re out in the stores today, for things like display, etc. so everyone who wants a cd can find it, and buy it… renegade archuleta promo squad activities in action, hhahhahah….. little things like that can add up, so let’s do what we can, if we can, to help get as many sales in before the cutoff for reporting later today…
