Il avait seulement recueillit 44% des votes. David Archuleta est d’origine Hondurienne, Mexicaine et Hongroise. Il est le deuxième d’une famille de cinq enfants. Il a déjà souffert d’une paralysie partielle de la voix, il devait subir une chirurgie risquée et il a refusé l’opération et sa voix s’est replacée d’elle-même. David Archuleta is a young man of 19 years (not yet!) and born on December 28, 1990 in Miami, Florida USA. He finished second on American Idol in 2008.
He had only received 44% of the votes. David Archuleta is of Honduran, Mexican and Hungarian descent (huh?). He is the second of five siblings. He suffered from vocal paralysis and could have undergone a risky surgery but refused to operate and his voice came back on its own (David actually worked hard to recover). His first solo album was released in August of 2008 and was called “Crush” (that’s the single, not the album…). He has released a new album on October 13, a disc that consists of 13 Christmas songs. I am certain that he will release another album soon (well, at least the last part was right).

Oh My Gosh, Ashley! I found this village sign on my way out of town for my vacation to Rhode Island. We will tour some mansions and see a concert Friday night in the Dunkin Donuts center in Providence, but I will leave you in suspense as to who is performing. I now have a camera that looks like a still camera but shoots up to two hours of video so I hope to upload some stuff for you! I am entertaining fantasies about an early Christmas song performance. When i get back home I am planning on making a sign that says “Oh My Gosh” and putting it in the blank space to the left of the word Ashley! If I have to ’splain it to the judge’ about defacing public property I will tell him I improved the sign! I hope all you fans will vouch for me that the blank space HAD to be there for just this purpose. Why else did they leave that space blank?

I emailed my station to ask when they play Christmas music, and the Director says they begin playing it the day after Thanksgiving. Should I request David’s songs now in response to his answer, or should I hold off until closer to that date? He already knows I’m a fan from past experience, and I don’t want to act like that’s my only reason for asking. Should I maybe throw in a request for someone else I like, too? Uggh, I kind of need to know tonight. Tks.

Hey Russ, glad to hear it. I’m doing much better than the last couple of days. Something was seen on a test I had, so I had to go back for an ultra sound today. Kinda scared, but it turned out ok. Worried about cancer, but they said everything was good. I said “ok, you’re sure everything is ok?” The person who performed the test & the Doctor who read the results & also did a check of his own, said “yes, everything is great”. So I said “I love you guys” The male Doctor said “Oh, why thank you”,lol. He was so cute about it when I said it,lol.(a bit older guy with grey hair, very nice). So a very good day. Sorry, didnt mean to give you such a long answer, I guess I’m just really relieved.

I was always finding a way to delay having a mammogram, but because I couldnt get Pecan Pies story out of my mind, because of some things David has said(things he said in his speech really helped me alot the last couple of days) & my mom made an appt for us to go do it together. So we are going to go every October to make sure we each do it. As scared as I was when they said they found something, I was still glad I did it. But its all ok. So I say, women shouldnt hesitate to do it. You got to get the test done every year. I wont ever hesitate again. So thank you Pecan Pie, David & my MOM!!!

Russ no I decided not to go to AC. I had 2 VIPs for Manchester & Providence and a regular ticket for AC. Probably would have still gone to AC if David wasn’t doing the holiday tour. But decided that I would do more solo tour shows (5) since those are just David…rather than drive all the way to AC for the DAvid/Demi show. Wish I was meeting up with you guys…but I think some of you are going to shows I’m going to on holiday tour so hopefully we can meet then.

Beth no need to thank me. I am actually doing well. It took a while to recover but I had a lot of support from family friends and people like David & pecan Pie just to mention a few. I just had my 1yr anniversary and so far so good. I feel like i have changed a bit over the year. I try to appreciate more what I have & not what I don’t have. David helped me in that area. Every day is a good day. Now i just try to do everything i can to stay healthy. I frequent here and chat as i find everyone to be so kind & supportive. I do try to go see David perform whenever possible. I hope you all have a good night & I look foward to meeting some of you during the Christmas tour.

as painful as it will be for me to pry myself away from school and be forced to travel up to NH (And stay through the concert in case he needs me again) and as horrible as it will be to touch that muscular back and rub the muscles working the knots out of them watching David rest peacefully…. sounds like a strange form of torture I guess I will HAVE to make the sacrifice for my baby

I am going to go to recreation centers and look for there buliten boards and put up flyers there. I will put up info. for the concert and his album, its usually a public domain so they allow you to advertise for stuff. Also some stores have public bulletin boards in the front entrances, like aco or ace hardware stores they all have public bulletin boards. My recreation center has a teen room just for teens so I thought I would drop off info there as well. I am going to ask my son if they have a public bulletin board in the high school and see if we can post info there as well. I am going to gift 2 churches in my area his cd and give them flyers and see what type of feedback I get. Last time I put flyers on car windows and tucked the flyer under the wind shield wipers while people where in church

I’m thinking of talking to the music dept. at the school in my area and see what they say, send them an email. I think we need to go to areas where people who enjoy good music congregate. I will check out the music store FYI I think its called, they have alot of concert flyers on there desks for people to take with them if they are interested in going to concerts. They also have ticket master at that store location, maybe thats what we need to do (light bulb moment) ha,ha, Hit the music stores that have the ticket master in there store? People who go to the concert go there and get there tickets!!!
