Oh, sigh. Amazon, why must you tease us so? And I thought the MP3 album would be released today in the United States, as per Amazon’s posting.
But at least some of our international fans are enjoying it! Spoilers abound on Twitter…much sighing and weeping and cries of “amazing!” I’m really trying not to read any of those tweets, and I won’t post them here. I just want to experience it for myself.

I reserve my will power for really important stuff like not biting into that luscious, mouth-watering piece of chocolate cake.
BTW: Loved both songs..of course.
I really like the lyrics of MOC. They’re simple but filled with all the feelings of Christmas. Loved the line mentioning Elvis, Celine, Josh…etc. Sounds like my home during the holidays.

the way chenson described the album progression – orchestral and lush in the first half, more stripped and lean arrangements in the final half is what convinced me to wait… to hear the album as a whole, one song building upon the next till the finish… i’m really, really, really, really stoked to the rafters in anticipation to hear what he so eloquently described, so i’m biting the bullet, my lips, and all kindsa things to wait, hahahhaha… pray for me to hold out

David’s vocals on this album is striking. That voice, so gentle and yet with so much power, so ripe, so profound, so much emotion, but never shooting over the top also … Simply heavenly! Madness! Christmas is coming! Who does not melt away when listening to this album socks with enthusiasm, which can not be helped. I would certainly prefer to go out immediately, get a Christmas tree, invite my family, wrapping presents, baking cookies, while the whole day, listen to this album together. All the best drinks in freezing temperatures and heavy snow outside while you sit in the soothingly warm food and hot chocolate, bake, laugh, be happy …
The song selection is for a young artist like David – and it comes from the pop genre – amazing, courageous, but just right for David. The album is its title, “Christmas From The Heart” more than fair. You can feel that each song comes from the heart. The orchestra and the arrangements are amazing!

Aagh, I’m at work so I can’t check out any links. I’m also remaining a spoiler virgin, which is obviously hard right now. About PEOPLE magazine, I hope ppl won’t be too disappointed that the interview is only one short page. I spy a 3rd picture, though! It’s small, and on Page 14 where the theme of the issue (35th birthday) is summarized. There is soooo much interest in the way he sings if that makes sense ………it is a complete EXPERIENCE…… don’t know how else to explain it. I was excited about David singing Christmas songs with his beautiful voice …..but it is soooo much more than that………so many surprises and twists and turns………..David is brilliant……as are all those musicians that had a hand in this project……..

565/ don’t feel bad – it’s easy to forget how easy technology has made it for files like that to get ripped, passed around, and downloaded from place to place, with no recourse for the artists to gain a dime from legal sales… excitement to hear the songs is at a fever pitch, and it’s hard trying not to succumb to listening… but i’ll bite the bullet, and try not to make it easier for those inclined to illegally download david’s album…
