Utah Jazz get a spectacular Star Spangled Banner!
FINALLY! We’ve been waiting for this video! Credit to robferre3 for getting it up so fast! He or she focused in on the scoreboard…smart move! 
He sounds incredible. Did you hear that “waaaaavvveeeeee???” The pitch he chooses is so unique, but it doesn’t ruin the fairly traditional interpretation of the song. The last word, “brave,” is so rich and full. And ya… a capella. Nobody does it better, huh?
Another note. He’s been up since FOREVER! What time did Good Day Utah start this morning? 7 a.m.? He’s been singing since 7 a.m., speaking all day long, crying (sniff….snort), laughing, and dealing with EVERY emotion in the book. Yet he sings like this at the end of THIS day? Wow.

my niece’s birthday was today and she had a david party. my sister was here in utah for david’s concert so i sent her back home with 20 square magazines for their goody bags and a few build a bear download cards, david’s album, and about 10 TMH itunes downloads. they made good prizes for the games. she also had concert pictures of david that they projected on the wall on paper and traced him and then traced outlines of all the girls but in shadow form so it looked like they were the “crowd” at the concert. it sounded cute. i wish i could have seen it. they watched some concert videos, did games and drank orange crush.

94 blue. That party sounds awesome. I think it is very interesting how we all find ways to promote David. I hope on this DA Day, we can all do a little something extra. I’ll share mine that just happened. I had 2 cheerleaders from our high school come to the front door on a fundraiser. I ended up donating one of David’s CD’s to their cause. I always keep a couple of his CD’s on hand to give or sell to my clients.

I took a new job to pay for my DA debts…
6 concerts for me, 2 for my daughter (including 2 vips..one for me , one for her) plus my flights, and expenses!! I took a job at a nursery/greenhouse..and I can barely move my hands…lifting those dang baskets over my head…I am such a weakling. But I just keep saying….keep your eyes on the prize! David is worth every single blister I am now sporting. It’s only the summer, but 4 days a week
..after that I will have to gravel to hubby ha ha..I quit my other job at a beauty salon, family owned.. (my sister has a real big problem with my ODD..and it got to be very ugly) so after 20 yrs i said. ta ta

One of my sons asked me today if I was going to the Hartford, CT show to see David. I just smiled…gulped…and said yeah…and he asked me if I got a good seat. I said yeah…the best — because I got a VIP ticket! and I told him a little about what that was about…then I said I actually have 6 VIP tickets…he said “to the same show?” I said no to 6 different shows…then I told him where I was going, he then said, “mom…he is going to know who you are if you go to that many shows…I said…I want to be able to say I love you and your music” by the 6th visit because I’ll be a total nervous fangirl the first 5 times. He tolerates my obsession — I just told him that if he saw David perform just once he would see how great he is.

Holy smokes! The crowd at the high school was out of control! Good thing there was about 100 officers there to keep everyone in line. I got some great pics of David as he came out of the tunnel from the gym. Some of the faces of the kids in the background crack me up!
We are here waiting, again, for David to come back out to the limo so we can head off to the game. There will be three vehicles that will be escorted to the Energy Solutions Arena – the limo, Brett’s suburban and ours! I’ve never been escorted like that before. We’ll have to see how this goes.
I have to tell you about the experience of watching David being paraded around at the high school. After he came out, they immediately got him into a vehicle and started to drive around the track. Everyone was trying to get as close as they could. There was people everywhere – of every age! Totally bizarre! There was a time when I looked over from where I was standing and just tried to take it all in. Then, it got to me. I was totally overcome with emotion. I don’t know if it is combination of everything going on, or just this specifically, but I had to take myself out of the crowd and find a corner and just cry. I think maybe it is because of all of the late nights talking to Jeff and David and trying to figure out arrangements. Listening to over 2,500 songs since the beginning of this process has been a little mind blowing. Trying to find the right vibe, the right moments, the right verses to have him sing….. I just want him to have every opportunity to share his amazing gift with anyone that will listen. I just hope that one, just one life will change because of the efforts we have made. I think that is why I broke down and cried. I look around and see all of these people cheering and looking up to him. We are so close to the end. I would love for him to win this thing, but I can’t even imagine him not being upset at all if he doesn’t. That in itself amazes me. There is just so much to take in. I look at my kids watching other people respect David and his talent. I can’t begin to guess what is going through their minds. David has just been “another guy that Dad works with” for three years now. Will that all change? Will they see him differently? Or will he still just be David? Time will tell….
Well, Urthman has come and found me. I guess I’ll go join the crowd again.

He it such a miracle in my life! I can’t express how he makes me feel.The JOY & HOPE made me strong and I HAD to live!! Sounds a little Cheezy..but it’s true!

Twitter: We just got on I-15 heading north. They took us over behind Fashion Place Mall and onto the freeway there. It’s only me going to the concert and 4 of them are in driving distance of my home. 2 are in TX where my parents live. Karla is over talking to David’s teacher while he has been on Idol. She travelled with them. She is really really nice. Also, the crew that Idol sent to film all of this has ben great. My goal is to get his body guard to crack a smile by the end of the night. I think we are going to invite them all up into the suite with us. I still can’t believe that someone ponied up the money so that David could have the chance to spend some time with his family. So cool!

andrea it was getting stuck before it goes into Windows Vista. all that was on the screen was the HP logo and this little sentence in left corner. was on the phone twice with HP support for about 1-1/2 hours each time. the first time (2nd day) it got fixed quick and the guy was trying to help me get my itunes onto the new computer with no luck. then it did it again a week later. got fixed and had a good tech and she checked all this stuff out. then it did it again today. i left it alone for awhile and then windows came up. took a long time though. i’ll be calling HP or the Best Buy’s Geek Squad again.

Then David will have like a month off (concert wise anyway ) and might be home or in LA doing recording not 100% what he is durijng his break b4 his summer tour though. btw David will fly straight from the UK to Manila if peeps didnt know that yet .

Hi Trudy, YES! We were at Northampton too. That was a rough one…had to drive thru the snow from Allentown, then stand out in the cold for several hours. But it was soooo worth it. What a great concert. The audience was singing along on every song. We were near a mom who was there only because she was chaperoning her daughter. She started out being kinda irritated and bored by the whole thing. But by the time David was done she was saying OMG, He’s AMAZING! Haha. a new convert.
I’m back. Dryer buzzer went off. Darling daughter brought home a lot of laundry from college.

Donna – it was cold that day – right after that darn snow storm – I was just glad they didn’t cancel the show. You should have seen people’s faces at my workplace when I told them I waited outside for 3 1/2 hours before the show and really froze that last hour — but that show was sooooooooooo worth it. David was amazing that night. I got a great spot next to the stage only 1 girl in front of me. I ran into you guys right after the show…and you were heading to another show for the next day.

Pam – I always stay late after a concert to see David cause when he had his solo tour in NJ he didn’t even come out to see the fans b4 the concert and I was there at least three hours earlier with only like 20 or 30 or so people in front of me so I saw him after he performed live . When I saw David at prudential I didn’t get there early enough cause I had some things to do that day and I had to pick my tickets up at will call thanks god they were there or else I would die and lose 90 bucks and not see David and Carly perform . I’m hoping to get their around noon at prudential but I’m already hearing peeps that want to get at the venue at around 8 or 9 but for me that is a little to early cause I’m not a morning person and Kalei (at the FOD chats) can atest to that for sure .

Yes Trudy, we drove 90 miles to Albany that night after the concert to get to our hotel. then got up and drove to Buffalo the next day. It was BRUTALLY cold in Buffalo. like 15 degrees plus wind chill. Haha David wouldn’t let people line up until 3pm. and the security was enforcing it. I called the line ‘the march of the Penguins’. but we had fun in line. we were standing with a bunch of canadians. including Pastel.

Hi Everybody!! Richard I have to give you a special thanks for cheering me up!! Archupends!! We made it to our destination in Bridgeport however we had slight technical difficulties! When we plugged in the rv the circuit breaker popped and there was smoke coming out!! Yikes!! We unplugged and the maintenance guy found that our plug was coming apart and he fixed it! Yay!! However in the process our new flat screen tv is powerless ( hopefully it can be fixed) and the coffee maker as well. We have an expresso maker so I will get my caffiene!!! Hubby is banned to the bedroom to watch TV ( its small but it works!!) and yay I have my computer and a good phone signal for wifi!!!

Pam – I waited for an hour for him at prudential last year so I know how u feel . Also , I waited 45 mins to an hour to come out at his solo tour in NJ so seeing David is always a waiting game for his fans . Anyway , I will get to prudential around noun and wait like an hour if he doesn’t come out I’m going to NYC and doing something like watch a movie or shopping etc etc
