A source tells FOD that David Archuleta sold 181 tickets in the first two minutes…wait, it gets better…and 221 tickets within the first six minutes! There are 400 tickets available in the pre-sale. It hadn’t sold at the time of this post’s publication, but it has to be getting close!

Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. MST
Can be purchased at :
- CD World in Idaho Falls, Budget Tapes and Records in Pocatello, and online at eastidahoconcerts.com – there will be a live buy link at 10 a.m. on Saturday
- tickets are $20.00
- there are no VIP seats – they have not got that approved, so everything is general seating
You will want to buy your tickets immediately. All indications show a sell-out, possibly in the first hour.

FOD Invited to Disneyworld to Cover the Opening of the American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida!

Fans of David was invited by Disneyworld to join in the press coverage of the opening of the American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida on February 12th!
On February 12th, Richard will be representing FOD. We will have an exclusive behind the scenes look of the American Idol Experience and we will broadcasting red carpet coverage to our FOD fans! We will have photos, video, and interviews with many of the past Idol participants.
The attraction opens on the 15th of February. We will have our footage available to post late on the night of the 12th or the 13th, depending on how much fun Richard is having that night.

Joe the doors open at 7pm so I would think around 1 pm should be okay. I have a backepack with a little seat I can bring so I can sit for a bit and I am putting a tiny fold up step stool in it so maybe this time I can see David instead of just hearing him. 76 JoyF: Usually the online ticket sales can handle hundreds and hundreds of sales a minute. For example, the Pomona show sold 181 the first 2 minutes. It is computerized. You will need a credit card and you will type in all of your information. You can see what it is like by going to one of the concerts that are selling tickets now–just don’t type in all of your information or you will buy a ticket for the wrong show! haha! Good luck!

Dummy me…I thought you actually HAD to go through the motions of walking down the aisle then releasing the ball. Not a good idea on a carpet. I twisted my knee a good one and was limping for months. When my boss asked me what happened, I was too embarrased to tell her, so I said I slipped and fell in the snow. LOL!

It does make sense to me. When I made my reservation in Lancaster, PA, the reservation person wondered aloud what was going on because it was unusual for the rooms at this particular location to be booking so fast. When I told her lots of people were coming in to hear David Archuleta, she took that opportunity to ask me where else David’s tour woud take him (so I told her)…I got the impression she was thinking of letting the people above her know so they could look into making some special arrangements for groups. This was the Hilton Garden Inn in Lancaster, but she was in their central reservations center in California. She then told me she loved David on AI and said she might try to get tickets to the Pomona concert
We, who are going to Lancaster, barely got our rooms, because they were booking so fast. So, some kind of packages would be a great idea!

and after the Solo tour, i hope Jive and his management give David a fair break, he needs to take time for himself too, since he released his cd, he’s been working like a horse, not even Cook has promoted his music on radio stations, jingle balls etc like David has done it. and i think David loves to spend time with his family and friends, i think that David loves to perform for the people, but i don’t think he enjoys so much to be the center of attention like Britney or other singers..After reading the blog of the girl who saw David at his prom, i got sad…..
so if ALTNOY is a not a smash hit, it’s better that way guys, don’t be sad..Anything happen for a reason…

Crusher That is a long haul. I did the 3 hour run like that for Charlotte and the issue was I was so spent from all the excitement. Barely kept awake. lol Seems like we might be having a sleepover. It is almost one month until the concert and I know it will work out great!

An idea popped into my head. “Call the radio station to ask about the webcast of David.” I didn’t know it at the time, but I spoke with the station’s promotional manager and she asked me if I’d like to come down to the station to meet David the next morning. I’ve been a Quality Control Inspector, Lead of a shift with 35 machines and 25 employees to be responsible for, raised 4 kids, worked in an office where I had to enter numerous purchase orders, call vendors, control all kinds of paper work, waited on 20 tables and the counter and handled the cash register all at the same time. You’d think that buying 3 concert tickets would be a cinch. What is about David that makes me revert back to the flustered, paniced 14yo I used to be? LOL!

Kimk, crusherlvr, other Richmond attendees..got our tickets today. I think we will drive up earlier that day, go to dinner at venue and head back afterwards. (4 hrs each way)…otherwise my daughter would have to miss 1 1/2 days if we stay overnight, and I would be rushing to make it to venue by 4. For Idols tour, I left Charlotte at midnight and drove 3.5 without a bathroom!
