Adele, Senior Ball and Miranda all in 3 days!
Hi all. David here with another blog. So this week I got to go to the Adele concert!! Adele is amazing amazing amazing amazing, and she sounds so good live! James Morrison opened up for her, and he sings with so much soul. It’s so weird to see him perform because white people usually don’t sing like that haha.
Becky says: James Morrison is just so overlooked it’s not funny. I saw him open for John Mayer last year and he was AWESOME! Did you know that his voice is so raspy because he had whooping cough as a child, forever changing his lungs and vocal chords. But anyway, I loved how Adele didn’t move around a whole lot when she performed. She was all about the voice, and didn’t try to change that. What’s also cool is that it was at the Murray Theater in Murray, my home town! A few of my friends came with me too, so good times haha.
This Saturday was another extremely exciting day, because I got to go to Senior Ball at my high school!! I didn’t think I’d ever get another chance to go to a school dance, but I asked management and they gave the ok and made time in the schedule for me to go. I had soooo much fun! For our day activity, we had breakfast and then played games. We fit in a lot of them too. We played dodge ball, basketball, musical chairs, apples to apples, and crab soccer. I got a good work out from the crab soccer too haha. We rocked out at the dance too, and even though I sweat so bad it was worth it.
The girl I got to go with was awesome too. After the dance we all watched Mall Cop, but I kept falling asleep lol. I was so tired.
Becky says: Dodgeball is cool. The movie “Dodgeball” with Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn is not.

And I had to wake up early in the morning anyway for a flight.
So yesterday, we flew back down to LA, and I did some things for Nickelodeon with Miranda Cosgrove. It was something that involved more lines to say, haha. So I was really nervous before we started, but once we got going I had so much fun! It felt like Miranda and I just hung out all day long, and she’s such a nice girl. But yeah, the lines were for Crush Night that’s coming up on February 7th! The day of my acting debut.. when the episode of iCarly I’m on airs. It really is so much fun working with all of them on that show. I wasn’t sure if I’d get to work with them anytime soon, so when I heard I was going to be working with Miranda Sunday, I was pumped! haha. But yeah, I’ll stop talking about that and save it for the week it comes on. But keep that on your calendars! It’s a big day haha. Well for me anyway. But yeah I wrote an awfully lot in this blog. But it was a big weekend! Adele, the school dance, and Miranda all in 3 days. But I will post some pictures for you guys. Bye bye.

Hi Everyone…I am waiting for confirmation from Duluth concert. The paper work has not been completed according to the venue that I called. They said to call back in 24-48 hours. I hope that nothing happens that this concert is cancelled. I am going to think positive. I will just have to stay near a phone and my computer each day. She did not know if they would be doing pre-sales!

Joe- I know right! I’m so concerned about it. Cause they keep changing the dates. Like I thought we were going to be able to purchase them tomorrow at 9, but apparently the dates have been changed. The online presale is now on Thursday and we don’t even know if we’re going to be able to purchase them. Pastel is still trying to figure that out. So if we have to buy them when it’s open to the general public, that has now been changed to Saturday! Like GAH!! Haha.

69/Heather – How long have you played lacrosse? My daughter and son both play. My son is now playing for the University of Cincinnati and my daughter was in the Ohio HS championship game last spring. They lost, but it was fun! I think lacrosse is the best game in the world!
yes, Joe, the plan is to be there, I’ll be going with RobinF and meeting up with Rebeccaarchiefan. Rebecca is getting tickets when they go on sale this Friday! The only thing that will deter my plans is if my son (marine, in San Diego CA.) comes in on those days. I told him to come in on the 13th into SA or Austin and he can drive back home with Robin and I. But he may wait till August (his wedding) so he can save on travel costs and leave time. I really want to see him, it’s been almost a whole year, so I may have to cancel my plans if he comes in before the day of concert. OOOOHHHH,,,gotta go pick up my other son from school. Hope to have better idea if I’m going soon, but getting ticket anyway. We should all meet up, anyhoo, you can still meet up with Robin and Rebecca and others. Hey Julia…no criteria for being able to buy on the pre-sale for the Buffalo concert that I can find. Ticketmaster knew nothing about it. We will need to call the venue ourselves and ensure there is no Password that we need.
Since it’s on the internet, I doubt that there is a password; I think it’s just first come, first served. When they are out, they’re out. So, all hands on the keyboards on Thursday at 10 am. We’ll get our little spy Ann Marie to do some recognizanse, shall we?

About 2 weeks ago or less, my friend Jaime told me a customer at her work told her David was coming to Infinity. We didn’t really believe them, but I had my mom call Infinity call in case. She left a message asking if David Archuleta was planning on coming any time soon, and they never called us back! So it’s crazy that the person wasn’t lying! I could have my mom call them again to ask about the pre-sale tickets, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind… I’m just hoping they answer for us this time.
Either way, I’ll be here on Thursday at 9 am waiting for an hour until they go on sale. Aw yes, I can’t wait until Anne Marie gives us some more info. Maybe she’ll know a little something about it?

Heather – My daughter started in 7th grade and graduated last spring. She was a team captain. My son started in 8th grade and he is now a sophomore in college. Keep it up. It’s the original American sport! In fact today I bought my nephew a gift card for his birthday to a sporting goods store so he can buy a new shaft. What position do you play? Hey guys! I emailed Jenny and Becky about the date change for th Williamsville concert. On line presale is Thurs. Jan. 29. Tickets go on sale for the general public on Sat. Jan 31. Kiss 98.5 just announced the concert at 5pm and said tickets go on sale on Jan. 31. So… order them on THURSDAY!

Pastel and Julia- I stopped by Club Infinity again today after work but again, nobody was there. I had tried to call over the weekend but got a voicemail. I had stopped at about 4:00. I don’t know if Kiss is associated with this or not. I checked their website but found nothing about David’s concert. I peeked in the window at Club Infinity and noticed a big Q102 banner hanging in there. Q102 is a top 40 radio station in Buffalo. They just started playing Crush on that station. By the way, this venue is not very big, so we should get there early. I remember going there a while back when it was a country dance hall (Howdees) and it had a good sized dance hall but still not that big.

Robin- It’s interesting that you said that because today at 5pm, the radio station that had the Kissmas Bash announced David coming to Williamsville. But she said, “David loved Buffalo so much (which he did!) that he’s making it his first tour stop.” I said “Wrong!” David is going to be at several other venues before he comes here. So she was making it out like the radio station had everything to do with it when I believe, you are right, that David and his mangement had the say.
joe G let me know if you have trouble and we will help you out. You may want to attempt to buy tickets at a venue that goes on sale another day and just not complete the sale so you will know if its blocked. You know you have to go through Frontgate right. That is who they use rather than ticketmaster. I went to the website today and David was listed. What a beautiful sight!!

Last year, the campaign which is organized by Aeropostale and DoSomething.org collected over 125,000 pairs of jeans in just two weeks. This year the campaign will run for 4 weeks, from January 26th through February 22nd.
Teen favorite Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl) stars in the PSA campaign which encourages teens to take action in their communities. “Right now one in three homeless people in the US are under the age of 18. Let’s Do Something about it. This year, we want to collect over 200,000 pairs of jeans,” says Crawford. You can view his PSA at TeensforJeans.com.

VAJD…when I chatted with the girl at the Crocodile rock venue today…. she told me….the pre-sale gurantees your ticket….paid on a CC or Debit card…..the day of the concert….you will wait in line for your ticket just like everyone else…..and once you get to the window your tickets will be there…..but no special treatment if you get the pre orders….. now…..she also said to call back in a few days to make sure your name is on the list…… whew!!!!!!!! this a 1300 ticket venue….and she told me …..’we do expect this to sell out quick’……….

haha Heather, we do have to deal with hubbies, kids, and jobs, and even with friends who suddenly want to join you and bring their not so behaved teen girls and you say sure…but kinda wish you had not mentioned it, but your heart is too full of love you can’t say no, so, you invite to ride along, and lose sleep thinking ’bout all the arguing and whining they will have on the long 6 hr. drive, but your conscience causes a knot in your stomach, so you just lay there in bed with your eyes popped open, wondering why you are so nice…..then somehow in the middle of the next day in the wee early hours you fall asleep and wake up to your friend’s call, saying she won’t be able to make it afterall, and you fall to your knees to thank the Lord, that he is merciful and has blessed you with a nice, calm ride to see your beloved David. then it all happens again, only this time you want your sis to go and nieces who are angels and you promised them that the next time you go see David, you would take them, but they can’t go because they have school, and you are too honorable to suggest having your sis call the school and tell them the girls are ill and won’t be in those two days you need to see David, knowing it’s the last two days before they start spring break!!!!!!! why oh why? couldn’t David had his concert on the following Saturday, Sunday, or Monday? and you think twice about going because you feel guilty you get to see him again and they never have!!!!! but then you remember that your dear friend in San Antonio is celebrating her birthday on that date, and wants you to be there to share the joy of David and you start to feel better, but now have a huge headache dealing with the whole thing, when you know that you still have the predicament that your son who is a marine in San Diego and haven’t seen in almost a year may come home for a short visit on those days and that will have to cancel your plan and possibly sadden your friend, but it is your son and he comes first, dang it!!!! why am i such a great mom? haha

You will be lucky to be able to inhale and exhale, let alone DANCE! On NYE, I managed to inhale before the bodies became superglued to every part of me…there was NO way to exhale after that! I literally could not breathe! There were things that happened in that mosh-pit that have scarred me for life. And, if you think I am exaggerating, just ask anyone who was there! The same thing for SFF, except this time, I had purchased a small scrap of real estate on the floor for breathing space! Let’s just say…whoever you are standing next to will become a very intimate friend.
