Sundance Film Festival: David Is On the Guest List!
An FOD’er who shall remain nameless let me know that her son’s friend will be a greeter at the Sundance Film Festival, and David Archuleta is on her guest list (along with Katy Perry and several others)! He is scheduled to attend at the Stanfield Artist Lounge. Click the graphic to go there!
The Sundance Film Festival takes place January 15-25 in Park City, Utah.
We will work to confirm which day and time he may appear.

They had to put me to sleep before they removed me(so i wouldnt feel any pain) And right before i went unconscoius (i dont even remember saying this) I said “Guys if i die, Tell David Archuleta i love him” haha! i got a good laugh from that and just wanted to tell some fellow david fans

Altnoy on My Radio: The Case of the Missing Song, Solved!
Yesterday I ran this story from Jennifer:
I requested altnoy at my local radio station and she said they’ll get it in next week so on monday I called and asked them to play it and she said she couldn’t find it but she thinks they have it and if she finds it shell play it. I havent called again but I went to their site and they have a list of songs played and touch my hand is on there I don’t know why or if they had the wrong name or what. but you cant play it but u can buy it on itunes so it must be touch my hand. its so weird though I havent heard it on the station yet. just thought that was interesting.
Matt got on the case and solved the mystery! He wrote this email to the station manager:
Hey Justin,
I am pretty sure it was you on the overnight hours on 1/12 when you spun David Archuleta’s new single “A Little Too Not Over You” just before 3:00am. I say this because I woke up and heard the DJ talking and it sounded like you. Anyways, you announced Archuleta’s new single as being “A Little Too Not Over You,” which is correct, but then you played the song “Touch My Hand.” I was half asleep and it didn’t hit me until midway through the song when I realized the error. That song, in fact, was supposed to be Archuleta’s next single, but his label changed it to “A Little Too Not Over You” in December according to his myspace and some forums. Its great you’re playing this song and FLY isn’t the only station spinning it (possibly in error, who knows), but I don’t think playing “Touch My Hand” benefits FLY or Archuleta when it comes to promoting his next single. I thought I’d let you know, since it was spun 2 times last night also and especially since you made that error in the title. Thanks for reading this.. … and it would be cool to hear “A Little Too Not Over You” late tonight! haha

Know what you mean….. took me a long time to figure out that there is just no pleasing everyone, and that my likes, dislikes and passions were MINE, they held value, and most importantly didn’t need to be validated or justified by anyone else…. it freed me, and expanded my world, my worldview and allowed me to begin creating and including more variety into my life…Not everyone will be on the same page with us, and all I say to them is sorry you can’t come along this time on this journey with me – maybe next time

I HATE how cruel people are!!! They just don’t understand!! I’ve like David since Idol and I have honestly ALWAYS liked him in a I-wish-he-was-my-little-brother sort of way. I mean, I think he’s UTTERLY ADORABLE in every sense of the phrase, but I don’t sit around naming our children.
My cousin (who is also my best friend) liked David Cook during Idol and I, of course was David A all the way. She lives in another state so we would e-mail about Idol every week. When I told her (innocently) that I was rooting for David A. ALL THE WAY…I received a SCATHING e-mail informing of my stupidity and the ONLY fact I was supporting him was because I was taken in by his good looks and wasn’t I a little too old to be voting for the goody-two-shoes who just looked okay. And it went on.
I absolutely bawled after reading it…firstly because it hurt and secondly because my beloved cousin that David Cook was HAWT!! I mean…the amount of time I’ve spent in prayer for her since then. We’ve since patched everything up and she received a David Archuleta cd from my mom for Christmas. She’s admitted to liking it and having a fave song…but, I can tell you that it absolutely grinds her to admit that she likes the one she so venemously blasted!!
So…I too am past caring what people think…I’m not a weirdo…or a stalker…I just like A CLEAN-CUT WHOLESOME SINGER!!

Everyone has something in life they have to overcome, and a lot of that AI generated garbage is slowly but surely fading… It’s tough for any new artist to gain immediate acceptance in the music industry, and AI isn’t always loved or given the respect it deserves for producing some top notch artists… Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry, Elliott, Jhud, and the Davids are starting to dominate the charts, and are selling a heck of a lot of records, and winning all kinds of awards, but some snobs in the industry still want to look down their noses at anyone coming from the show… and they look for any reason to try and slag them…… that stigma is going away, because you can’t spin away or deny that these folks – especially David – are the cream of the crop….

Brett: Never text anymore, but we see him quite often when he’s here…last week we picked up his parents to go to the basketball game and David just got in the car with us…had no idea he was going…kind of fun that he just gets in and goes with us.

The reason why David stopped was because there was a 7 year old girl that was right in the middle of pit, who was being pushed around. She started crying. 
Her mom was standing behind her and tried to comfort her. That’s when David noticed and showed his concern for her. He is the absolute sweetest. It’s not even his job to make sure that everyone is safe. um hello security??

I was a off the boards last night because I was shook up about the UsAirways plane crash in NY… they’re one of my companies largest clients, and here in Charlotte, I have lotsa friends employed with them… spent the evening calling them to make sure they were safe, and in prayer and thanksgiving to God that those 150 people were spared… Charlotte is a major hub for USAir, it’s like every other person you meet is connected to the airline in some way, so when something like this happens, it stops the city cold…. God is Good!

thank you thinkofmearchie! *hugs* I also got a chance to say goodbye to David before they drove away in his car. He was in great spirits sitting with Lupe in the back seat. It was actually funny, because my friends and I were eating a restaurant after the show when one of my friends noticed that David’s car had pulled up. We ran out of the restaurant and when we came back, we found that EVERYONE at the restaurant had stopped eating and was looking outside to see what all the commotion was about.

Just incase anybody wants to know how to make a youtube file into an mp4 its real easy. On google search for youtube downloader. Once you find it and download it just copy the youtube file address into video url and click ok. I usually save it to my desktop so I can find it easy. Then click the convert tab. hit the box to the right of the select video to browse and select file. The arrow to the right of convert to will choose the file type you want. There is one for your iphone as well as 3g for other kinds of phones or wwv to make a DVD.

Hi Lorna! I’m so jazzed about the reverse British invasion w/ David and Crush! I visited Northern England a few years back, when I took a summer travel course finishing up my undergrad studies, and just fell in love with The Lake District, and when we went south to Salisbury and into York, I was already a goner… never seen such green and natural beauty as I saw up in the Lake District, just walking across the fields…. I’ve been angling for a temporary work assignment in the UK ever since – with no luck, LOLOLOL….

Hmm a private concert. I would go for that! Funny I was talking to RAF earlier and we figured 1000 people at $50 each for a small venue concert. Less the money for the venue and the management company, travel expenses and so on. We figured David should get between 10 and 20 thousand per concert. That should be enough to live on and perpetuate his music career.
Has anyone seen the new People with the wedding photos in it yet? Supposed to come out today and I was wondering if David pics were there too! He was mentioned in the People article so I hope so. I am sure if there is we will find out soon. Things travel fast.

It was a dream come true for me, and I can’t get any of the fun we had, the places we visited out of my head! We were over there in 2002, during the run up to the Queen’s Jubilee, so when we got to London there was so much activity going on… I had some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten in a little restaurant in London – that alone makes me want to return
Hey everyone! I just went to the official youtube site for David, and there is another ALTNOY video there. I’m confused on why they added another one there and it says one hour ago.
They can presell the tickets and you can choose if you want to buy a cd with your tickets and David can autograph them before or after the concert. That will boost cd sales as well. He will know exactly how many cds he will need.
I was just thinking last time David ” took over ” Disney radio he wasn’t actually there that day. It was prereorded. If he will be at SFF on Monday that may again be the case.

#355 GG – Oh, Indian Food is my favorite. An interesting fact for you, in case it ever comes up in say Trivial Pursuit, that a survey was done a few years ago in England and Indian food was the #1 eaten food over fish and chips (which as you know is very traditional). The English do love their Indian food.
Linda – We all want a “small” event, but I don’t see that happening. This site only gets 1,000’s of hits a day and if it is publicized on this site…there is no way the numbers will be small. I used 500 as the low.
Pamtimmie – I used to be an Even Planner too. I also have connections in the Hotel world. Don’t know what I could get, but it’s worth a shot. I think Vicky in Nashville has connections too.

Lorna too funny a translator in England but you are so right. I have english friends and sometimes I need a translator!! At Christmas my friend said she saw the cutest little Santa with his braces on. I thought why did Santa have braces on his teeth. They laughed at me and told me the american term is suspenders! LOL!
David did that private thing in LA, where there were only 250 people, and he didn’t even get paid. It was for charity. At $100 per person, he would get $25,000 at that.

I wonder if he will be able to a lot of private concerts. Other sites as we know want to do the same. The feeling with some is that Jive will want everyone that can to go to one of their scheduled concerts, to help “sell out” those event. We, of course, would do both, but the reality it might be a year before he could really do a lot of private events, when things have settled down a bit. But then we have a Christmas CD and think of all the parties he could do at Christmas!

Cause that meal still brings back good memories! I also grew to like the black pudding? served with the breakfasts… we stayed in Bed and Breakfasts mainly, and the hi-lite of many days was the warmth of our hosts as they served us breakfast…. I’m usually stick to cereals and such in the morning, so I liked trying something new… we spent a lotta time in pubs everywhere we went too, and we ate lots of pretty good regional fare in those too…. and drained quite a few pints, I might add!
I gained about 5 pounds on this trip, if you couldn’t tell!

VAJD I asked you a question last night but you had just said good night. Have you been to an idol tour concert? If so was the smaller venue with David just playing the keyboard just as or more satisfying than the arena atmosphere.
I have the People mag in my hands, but at a quick glance I don’t see anything about the weddiing or David. I will go through every page and report back.
