Nadia from Indonesia Creates an ArchuCalendar

Well, hello FOD. My name is Nadia. I’m from Indonesia.I’m 15 and a freshman now haha.

Few weeks ago, my arts teacher asked us to make calendars for our semester projects. Every student has to make one month. Sadly, my teacher asked me to make June 2010, cause I want December lol. Then I decided to make archu-lendar. The materials were cardboard, cartons, and some coloured papers lol. It seems simple, but I had only 3 hours of sleep when I was doing that haha. But t’was worth it, cause I got high mark yay! Hahaha.

Well, all my friends have already knew before that I’m a huge fan of David, my friends were not really surprise when they saw my archu-lendar lol. They said that it was awesome. The special comment came from my teacher. When she saw that she was like amazed, and asked ‘Who’s this cute guy?’ and I was like ‘Oh that’s my boyfriend.’ and all my friends were like ‘Boooo’ hahaha. Well, then I told her about David and she was like ‘Cool. And this guy is literally handsome. You deserve a high mark.’ Yipiiieeee hahahaha.

I went to the sushi restaurant after school. I hold the archu-lendar cause its too big and there was nothing that can hide it lol. The manager restaurant was like ‘Aww that guy is hot.’ And I was like ‘Of course he does’ lol. And I went home by public transportation, and everyone stared at my archu-lendar. Dang it I was so proud! Hahaha.

Well, that’s my story. Thanks for your attention, and since I know that FOD is a great site, I think this is great to share it with you guys.

PS. I’m sorry for my bad english. I actually only use english on Twitter and english class lil. I usually speak Indonesia hahaha.

Archurandom Promo Story!

Hi,

I wanted to share something AWESOME that happened today! I decided to wear my ILAA I Heart David t-shirt today as I ran some errands around town. I wear it randomly to try to promote him and also just to see people’s reactions LOL. I ended up meeting my parents for lunch. Once in the restaurant, I took off my coat and went to sit down when a guy at a different table said “Hey, I just got two free songs from him on Itunes! One was in a Holiday sampler and one was the free download of the week! Did you know he has a Christmas album out? I found out on itunes!” My mom said “Oh my, you have no idea! She is a major fan!” So I was in some sort of archubliss that this random guy was talking to me LOL so I whip out my VIP lanyard and he was like “whoa how did you meeeet him?” So I tell him about the concerts, about being on-line, etc. So he tells me he is a pastor and he has liked him since Idol but never followed up on him. He tells me he thinks that David seems so nice and genuine. So I tell him I’ll be right back and I run to my car and grab a CFTH still unopened CD and come back with it. I hand it to him and say “This is for you. Merry Christmas!” He is in a state of shock. I tell him that David’s fans are called Archie Angels and our mission is to spread Christmas cheer LOL so he starts to ROTFL! He thanked me several times and I have been smiling ever since! As much as my son likes to tease me about that shirt, it pays off. Fly your freak flag proudly my friends! Say it loud, say it proud – I am an Archie!

Baltimore show was epic. I will always remember it.
VIP.
David came out to the stage and he was so cute! He was wearing black graphic tshirt and scarf. He was so spacy! He said that his voice is rested and he feels very good. Then he sang TMH and oh boy..he belted out that song. He went for notes I never even knew existed, he was in full force, not in a soundcheck force but a concert force! The he sang Mary Did You Know. That was amazingly beautiful.

Questions time. Ok now..that is where I can see it got all weird. I paraphrase as I dont remember exact words.
1st. Q
“what are your plans for Christmas”
D: Hopefully with family, but you never know what will happen.
2nd Q.
The girl just looked at him and could not even say a word. She was wearing a plaid hat with peace sign on. So she had to move on and David complimented her hat, then he sat down on the stage floor with legs crossed and said to all of us: You know what has been stuck in my head all day? and started humming, singing the song form Hey, Arnold. It was totally adorable.
3rd Q.
No question again. The women just kept telling David something but I could not hear what she was saying as she was not saying it in mic. Kristin asked if she had a q. and she said no. and then the girl asked David for autograph. Then the second girl also asked for autograph.
So the second question finally came in.
Q. What is your secret thing that you have for the next 10 years?
D: well, if it was a secret I could not tell you. If it was a surprise I would not know it. But I would like to get my other album released, may be couple.. continue singing.

The pictures part was also different. We were put in line right after the soundcheck and were not allowed to see David interact with fans during picture taking. After the pic was taken we were send to a separate room one by one and were no allowed to look at David taking pics with fans. Also they seem did not allow to say good bye to us either.

When it was time to take a pic with David I wanted to make sure I tell him my name as I always forget. So I came to him and said my name is Elena and and he tried to repeat it. It came out so cute, so I spelled it for him. He was so spacy, in his own world. He was 10000% adorableness!

Concert: EPIC!!!
David was on FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! He was doing such moves and belting out such huge notes during pop section of the concert that I spent most time with my mouth open and with shocked eyes. And this was my 9th concert so I have seen a lot of epicness but this one topped them all. WFY, ALTNOY and MH was too much to handle. Hot! No other world can discribe what he did there.
Prayer of The Children needs to have a separate show. Seriously. This whole piece altogether with David’s speech should be framed and put on the wall if you can ever frame a live performance. DEAD SILENCE during the song. I cried. It was amazing.
The whole thing was over before I knew it and David was doing Feliz Navidad. Then he ran down the steps on the side of the stage and down the isle! AHHH!!! Amazing:) and it was over…we were screaming the bloody heck. chanting David David David, everything was a go, hands, voices, feet. OH YES. He came back.
O Holy Night. Yes, that song is not a song. Its a prayer. David prayed and we prayed with him. If I wasn’t sitting I would be on my knees as hearing David sing that song is like being in church and seeing angels.
After OHN seems like he did not want to leave, he kept saying bye to us, going towards the backstage and kept coming back saying bye again. Then he left and came back! He said that Sayesha is there and she is performing in Dreamgirls and to go see her. And he pointed to her. She was sitting in the middle of the orchestra and then he left. Some people who were sitting next to S. gathered around her.

Stephanie( gold heart) made all the arrangements for dinner after the show! Whoo-hoo for Stephanie!!
We thought it would be great to hear David’s music in CCF, and we gave a CD to our waiter. She saw the CD and said: Oh, David was here last night! He was there with the girl ( *as we know it was Syesha) but he did not order anything. Everybody immediately recognized David, but some staff wanted to verify if this is David. So they asked the girl who came with him: “Is this David Archuleta?” and the girl said: “Yes! “They had absolutely no idea that the girl was Syesha! Lots of people ran to David to get an autograph, and some people were crying.
So what happened next was EPIC.
The waiter told David that there is a group of 40 FOD people made a reservation for the after the show dinner. And David wrote a note on the menue and asked the waiter to give it to us.!! ONLY DAVID CAN DO IT!
