Paula emailed us about a special poll for Stars Unite for Charity:
“StarsUnite for Charity applauds and celebrates celebrities that bring awareness and donations to charities they support.” They have announced an awards program. Each month four stars will be showcased as the “star of the week” and at the end of that month they will allow their members to “vote on which star they believe has been the most generous and has brought the most attention and donations to their charity picks.” David has been nominated this month for his Pathway to Hope Project for Rising Star Outreach, along with Lee DeWyze, Claude Giroux and Siobhan Magnus. Each month StarsUnite for Charity will award the winner a ‘crystal star’ and at the end of the year each of the monthly winners will be in the running to win an annual “Shines Bright Award,” which will be showcased soon, as they are still working with the company designing it.
The winner will be determined by 50 percent votes on the monthly poll/vote and 50 percent of auction revenues (1 point per vote/1 point per dollar of final bid).

TV Appearance Tomorrow on Lifetime!
David will be appearing tomorrow on a nationally syndicated talk show called ‘The Balancing Act’, which airs on Lifetime from 7 – 8 a.m. daily. Check your local listings and set your DVR’s! The little blurb under the first picture was taken directly from their site under “Tomorrow’s Show.” Woot!! Seeing David on national TV is like a brownie sundae with hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top – a real treat! *runs to look for brownies*

I thought this was an interesting tweet from Dave Filice (@davidfmusic) today. Dave is a good friend of FOD and was David’s bass player during the David/Demi and CFTH tours.
Hmmmmmm, a dance remix of ALTNOY?….I would love to hear that….
UPDATE: @jennyG_PA tweeted me after she read this post, sending me a couple of links to ALTNOY remixes. I don’t know why I had no idea…..I consider myself somewhat of an Archu- Randomness Aficianado….I knew about Crush and Zero Gravity remixes, and a bunch of others because we play them alot in our FOD Live Chats, but ALTNOY? Nevertheless I shall post one of them here. It’s great for chair dancing….and obviously the gym. Thanks for being ‘on your toes’ Jenny!

American Idol 7 Flashback – 2 Years Ago Today…
Since it’s a slow Archu-news day, I thought I’d reminisce about one of my favorite David Archuleta concert experiences – actually they’re ALL favorite concert experiences, but this was the very first time I had seen David in concert. The Idols came to Toronto on July 26, 2008. I didn’t know ANY David fans then. I dragged a friend with me who had no idea of my ODD at the time. After watching David every week on TV I knew I just HAD to hear him sing LIVE, or I would never forgive myself. I stood in that audience, mesmerized, watching David and the baby grand piano rise from below the stage amidst the ethereal blue haze. What an incredible experience. David thinks there was a lot of screaming for Enrique? Oh David! They got nuttin’ on the Canadian and Western New York fans at the Air Canada Centre that night!
