MySpace Minus Christmas!
While I wouldn’t call it brand new, it’s no longer Christmas in July (despite the misleading scarf around David’s neck). I’m still expecting to see more change in the upcoming months. I’ve gotten so used to the font and style of David’s debut album that I still can’t wrap my mind around a brand new design.

“Something ‘Bout Love” BUZZ!
It was only a matter of time before the reviews came rolling in. So far, things are looking very good for David’s future on the radio.
Global Grind:
They predict that SBL will help put David back on top!

Idolator:
Now, sure—David is still treading down the pop trail, and unabashedly so. But with all the swirling synth loops, the dance beat and lyrics about broken hearts and being brought to your knees by the world, we can’t help feeling that—sniff!—our little Archie is all grown up.

Mall of America Recap

Katrina:
My family and I got to go to Minnesota for David Archuleta’s book signing that took place at the Mall of America on June 5th. I have to say, this experience was UNBELIEVABLE. So many wonderful things happened that I’m so grateful for. Before I go on, I’d just like to mention that before meeting David on June 5th, I met him 4 times, and during those times that I’ve met him, he didn’t seem to remember me. Also, this is quite random, but my right hand was feeling sore days after the signing (this is relevant to the signing – I’ll explain later.) So, here it is, my recap:
I’m actually not from Minnesota – I’m a fan from Chicago. So going to this book signing required A LOT of planning, talking to my family, and traveling, so the fact that the drive to Minnesota is about 7-9 hours worried me. Weeks before the signing, my family agreed to drive up to Minnesota. If things didn’t work out , we were still planning on going to the Mall of America. On Friday, the day before the signing, we left at around 11 for Minnesota! I also had to stop by Barnes and Noble to pick up a copy of Chords of Strength for my sister Adrianne, who was planning on attending the signing for me. We made a stop at her apartment in Milwaukee, and she joined us for our family road trip! We drove straight for Minnesota for 9 hours, and at around 9 PM, we finally arrived! We ate at another hotel, a different hotel from where we were staying at and went to bed early. We planned on getting up at 5 AM (yikes, so early!) just to get wristbands for the signing.
